Farmhouse in Montemor near Forest and Lake

My stay was terrible as I paid for three rooms with double beds and there were only two, the living room was a space of 1 metre to 1 metre and a half with three chairs on top of each other, in other words I paid for a type of accommodation that did not correspond, we were 6 people we were very badly installed, I felt cheated.

For a week we were in a Portuguese oasis. From a spacious terrace covered with flowers in front of our house, we looked over a large swimming pool with beautiful hills in the background, a green lawn and beautiful plants and flowers everywhere.The pool is large with a spacious shallower area where our young children can spend hours every day. played. We also enjoyed a variety of vegetables obtained from the vegetable garden. You can see bulls and cork trees along the access road. The reservoir also belongs to the very well-maintained estate of the friendly owners Joke and Dick. Inside the house are authentic Portuguese elements such as the tiles in the bathroom. In addition to the wonderful stay at the accommodation and Montemor-O-Novo, we also went to the historic towns of Evora and Sebutal. Lisbon is an hour away. In short, we really enjoyed this ideal Portuguese vacation spot.

It was difficult to find via a long dirt road through a cork tree plantation. The cottage was spacious and comfortable.
