Modern Holiday Home in Cela

The accommodation is somewhat remote, very nice for those seeking peace. The restaurant, bakery, and small supermarket are about 2 km away in the village. It takes 15 minutes by car to get to the sea in Nazaré. A car is absolutely necessary. The outdoor area of the holiday home is somewhat unkempt, and having a step or a ladder into the pool would be good. For older people, getting in and out is difficult! The pictures of the house are quite outdated; everything needs a bit of refreshing.

Overall, beautiful house well located, however the outdoor facilities are limited for 4 people, a terrace table with two chairs for 4, three worn-out loungers for 4, and no parasol in good condition. Mr. Claes

The house was quite stylish, but unfortunately neglected. There was rust on all the garden furniture, the chairs were completely worn out, the cabinet doors were also falling apart, no knife was sharp, the kitchen was poorly equipped, a beautiful property that appeared neglected. The payment terms from the booking platform bordered on coercion.

We had a very nice vacation. The rental on-site was very nice. The surroundings are stunning. Unfortunately, the pictures of the house on the internet are no longer quite up to date. Additionally, the house needs a few updates (renovations). The tables and chairs in the outdoor area could use some renewal!

The holiday home is no longer like the pictures that accompany it. The wood is painted in a grayish color, the view over the valley is largely hidden by a hedge. There is another house in front of the house. The house itself is very damp. There is mold in the curtains and on the walls. The pool was not maintained properly. After 4 days it had such an indeterminate color that we were no longer in it. When people walk on the road, they look directly on the terrace and your pool. The village itself is nothing to it. Nice places in the area.

The cottage is at the end of a dirt road but the view is fantastic! Across the valley to the sea! The location between Nazare and Alcobaca is very nice, in just fifteen minutes you are either in the coziness of the seaside resort or in the tranquility of the monastery town. In Nazare, really dive into the streets behind the boulevard to eat, the fish restaurants are really sublime. We have made beautiful trips in the area to Tomar, Fatima, Batalha, Lisbon, San Marthino and Obidos. The location of the cottage makes it possible to see lots of fun and different things. The cottage itself is fully equipped, but it is true that some things are due for replacement or were already ready. The DVD player, for example, was broken, the bathtub's jacuzzi hadn't been working for a few weeks, and the pool's heating has cures. A little bit of investment is also allowed in the small things, a new broom, drying rack or parasol can do no harm. Celeste does her very best to make you feel at home, there is absolutely no lack of it. What we did not know and we still find a point of attention is the neighbor, the cottage is on the front and on the side at a work site / storage of a local contractor. We were awakened daily by a fine digger who was moving gravel haha! We were not very bothered by it, but it is a moment when you think: huh? I had not seen that when I booked ... but it is a wonderful holiday destination and this area is definitely worth repeating!

We were received by an extremely friendly lady. She showed us the house and told us about trips in the area. The view from the house is breathtakingly beautiful.
