Family Retreat with Pool; Caldas da Rainha

The location is ideal for beach lovers, We visited Foz do Arelho and enjoyed the calm waters, The villa itself was spacious, and we made good use of the kitchen and outdoor cooking facilities,

Perfect for a family getaway! The kids loved the play area, and we appreciated the convenience of having a washing machine, The villa is well-maintained and felt like a home away from home,

What a gem of a place! The swimming pool was refreshing, and the slide kept the kids entertained for hours, Plus, being just a short drive from Nazaré beach was a bonus, We loved it here!

The villa is spacious and well-equipped, We appreciated the high chair and cot for our little one, The living room was a cozy spot for movie nights with the DVD player, Overall, a practical and comfortable stay,

The house is a bit dated but offers everything that was promised by the landlord. The kitchen is functional and equipped with everything you need for a vacation. The terrace of the house enjoys morning sun. In the late afternoon and evening, it is already quite shady at the end of September. In the height of summer, you would probably appreciate that. The pool is very nice, but at this time of year, it is also quite cool. The pool is fenced, but only accessible via a short steep descent. This also applies to the outdoor kitchen, which could be improved. Aside from the nice bedrooms and well-functioning bathrooms, we used the interior of the house little since we were often out and about. The dining and living room makes a good impression. Access was easy via a key safe at the property entrance. We did not hear or see anything from the landlord during the two weeks. The pool was cleaned weekly, and once the gardeners came early in the morning. Caldas da Rainha has many shopping options, and there are many unassuming but very good local restaurants in the area.

Beautiful villa with a lovely garden and pool, enjoyed using the pool after it was cleaned. Unfortunately, the shower cabin was not optimal as only a small stream came out. Experienced a rural power outage, first the electricity went out, mobile network was down, and water was off, this was beyond our control. The host came the next day to check if the water was working again. Overall, a wonderful stay with the family, quiet surroundings, good restaurant Albertino, all in all a cozy and delightful week, definitely recommended for a family with a maximum of 8 people.
