About Property
Stay in Oane's Húske, an authentic Frisian Forest House nestled by a quiet canal, ideal for exploring the region by bike or on foot. The fully detached holiday home offers three themed bedrooms and a large sleeping loft, totaling 10 beds, all with high-quality box springs. The spacious kitchen and large dining table seat 10–12 guests comfortably. Beds are made on arrival, and bath and kitchen linen are provided. Parking and an electric car charging point for two cars are available, and bicycles can be safely stored and charged in a lockable storage room.
Outside, enjoy a canopy with canal views and an electric barbecue. Children can play safely on the rubber-tiled playground with swings and tumbling frames, while adults can relax in the stove-fired Finnish sauna with light therapy and infrared radiators, complete with an outdoor shower. For larger groups, the adjacent detached house “it Simmerhúske” can accommodate 6 additional guests. The sauna is available on site for a fee.

Our stay was great and the host was very friendly! The kitchen and bathroom were luxurious, There was more than enough of everything, like coffee, toilet paper, towels, and spices to cook with, The only thing we didn't know was that we had to pay €100 in cash to use the sauna for 4 days, The sauna had 3 moments when it got really hot, so you couldn't use the sauna properly all day, Otherwise, we had a top stay!

What a fantastic weekend we had in Friesland with our group of 9 friends! From the moment we arrived, we immediately felt at home. The welcome was warm and we received a clear explanation of everything we needed to know. The house was great! The luxury kitchen and bathroom were fully equipped with everything you can think of. It was clear that everything had been thought of, from the smallest details to the great conveniences. The interior was not only nice and beautiful, but also stylish and cozy, which contributed to the relaxed atmosphere. The area was wonderfully quiet, perfect to completely unwind. The house was spotlessly clean and the beds were super comfortable, which ensured a good night's sleep after a day full of fun and coziness. In short, this weekend away in Friesland was a great success and we can recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious, comfortable and relaxing getaway with friends!
