Holiday Home in Grou with Bubble Bath

Disappointing experience in holiday home in Grou Our stay in the holiday home in Grou was unfortunately not what we had hoped for. Upon arrival, we immediately noticed that the house looked unkempt. The garden was overgrown with tall weeds, which gave a messy first impression. The jacuzzi, which looked inviting in the photo, turned out to be empty and dirty – clearly not maintained for quite some time. Inside the house, hygiene also left much to be desired. Everything felt grimy, especially the kitchen, where we found cutlery and dishes that had not been properly washed. This house is also not recommended for families with children: the bunk bed was unstable and the ladder and gate were loose, making it dangerous to climb up. This seriously compromised safety. In short, this holiday home urgently needs maintenance, both in terms of cleanliness and safety. For now, we unfortunately would not recommend it to other holidaymakers.

We chose this place for the weekend, It was a larger group (planned were 10, but we were 7 on site) and therefore we had expected a larger accommodation, We received two units, which was not planned, as the group is then separated, The facilities are rather simple and you can tell that everything is a bit older, One of the units (110) was, however, a bit more modern, The listing stated that I would receive check-in information after payment, but I did not receive it, which made check-in a bit improvised, Regardless, we had a lovely time on site, In principle, it is also suitable for larger groups if you split into two houses

The location is chill, and the space is super clean, Free WiFi is a must, and this place has it, Perfect for a weekend escape with the crew

We had a fantastic stay at this holiday home in Grou! The bubble bath was the cherry on top after a day of exploring the lovely village and nearby attractions like Museum Hert Fan Fryslan, The house was spacious and well-equipped, making it perfect for our family getaway, We enjoyed dining outside in the garden, which felt so private and serene, The location is ideal for water sports enthusiasts, and we loved being close to the ferry for easy access to Leeuwarden, Highly recommend it!

We had a lovely stay at this holiday home in Grou! The outdoor bubble bath was the highlight of our trip, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring, The house itself was modern and very clean, with ample space for our group of four, We appreciated the fully equipped kitchen and enjoyed some meals outside in the beautiful garden, The location is also fantastic—just a short walk to the local dining spots like Oan t Wetter and not far from the charming center of Leeuwarden, Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!

Tbh, the outdoor space is goals, 🪴 Perfect for some Insta pics, Clean and spacious with all the kitchen stuff you need, Plus, the nearby water park is a fun day out
