In the heart of Giethoorn you will find this beautiful, renovated farmhouse with a garden and a recreation room. A unique place for a wonderful holiday with friends and/or family.
Giethoorn is also called the Venice of the North. It offers numerous recreational opportunities in the field of hiking, cycling, and of course boating. Giethoorn is elongated and consists of 3 neighborhoods that are always staggered from each other. In the north is the Noordeinde, then the Middenbuurt and finally follow the south end. The Dorpsgracht is the central axis of Giethoorn and ends in the south in the southerner wide.
In addition to the comfortable bedrooms and bathroom, this property offers a lot of space on the ground floor where you can eat and recreate. The open kitchen is completely equipped with everything you need and the recreation room is furnished with a billiard table, table tennis, air hockey, toys, and various board games. The terrace is located directly on the water.

The hosts were wonderful, but the agency managing the property failed to respond to any of our inquiries and only sent automated replies, The absence of towels and basic amenities like soap or salt made our stay uncomfortable

We had overall a very nice stay at this holiday home. It was very easy to find and the location is very close to the Giethoorn center and supermarket. Backyard is amazing with plenty of outdoor seating, a swing and a lovely sunset by the canal. Very calm and peaceful. Hosts were very welcoming and kindly gave a full tour of the place. Any time we needed something they were happy to help and resolved any issues we had very quickly since they lived next door. Although they live next door, they still gave us our privacy which was nice. They also gave us a welcome hamper full of typical Dutch snacks and sweets which was very kind of them. Would overall recommend :)

With 6 people had a great midweek. Peacefully quiet! Very helpful and cordial landlords. Beautiful surroundings, outside the hustle and bustle of Giethoorn. Our 4 children also had a great time both inside and outside! Rent a boat at 200m. Despite the heat, it remained nice and cool inside and also plenty of shade outside. We would like to go again in the winter..... and then with our skates!
