Woodland Group Villa near Veluwe & Campfire

It was a good experience. The Grove Den is a beautiful house with many rooms.

A wonderful holiday home! The fireplace added a cozy touch, especially in the evenings, The location is serene, and we took advantage of the bicycles available to explore the area, Would definitely recommend!

We had a practical stay here, The washing machine and tumble dryer were very useful for our group, The tennis court was a fun way to spend an afternoon, The kitchen was well-equipped, which made cooking for a large group manageable,

What a charming place! The BBQ area was a hit with our family, We grilled every night and enjoyed the outdoor fireplace, The kids loved the sandpit and trampoline, It’s a perfect spot for family bonding,

Perfect for family gatherings! The living/dining room was large enough for all of us to enjoy meals together, The garden was a peaceful retreat, and we loved the various terraces for lounging around,

Deferred maintenance. In a house for 30 people, there is only space at the table for 20 people. The advertisement states that you can use the adjacent holiday park. Unfortunately, this was closed (closed from October to April). However, a friendly landlord and beautiful surroundings.

Fantastic location, very spacious house and extensive kitchenware, quiet. Some downsides: unpleasant smell in the basement (ventilation?), loose sockets, hot tub doesn't work! Nice covered lounge fireplace but the smoke came more from the roof than from the chimney! The billiard room (garage box) provided hours of fun but is poorly maintained (billiard ball was missing). Conclusion: House with fantastic potential but needs a bit of love.

It is a large house in a beautiful area. Very green, nice garden, and you can use the camping facilities next door. The house did need some maintenance. The floor with the bedrooms in the basement was very cold, musty, and damp. I did receive a small compensation, but 3 bedrooms were not usable.

The villa is a bit of a faded glory. Broken furniture and the house is not clean. Dead flies in the bedrooms and bugs in the bath! And that is quite remarkable because you have to pay €200 for cleaning costs. You would expect it to be clean, right? These cleaning costs and the costs for the linen package plus a deposit of €500 must be paid in cash! In our case, this was over €900 that you have to bring in cash. No other payment options are offered. Then, after several messages from my side, the deposit was refunded via bank transfer only 10 days later. Not very guest-friendly. For us, this villa has not been a success. We will not come back here.

Had a wonderful stay with a group of friends and their families. The house was well equipped for a large group. There was also plenty to do outside with a nice fire pit. We would definitely go back again.
