Though the on-site restaurant is closed from 14 Jan–3 Feb 2026, you’re never far from a memorable meal. Just a short drive away, dine at De Gulle Buurman or enjoy lakeside bites at Brasserie De Tolplas, both known for their hearty Dutch hospitality and cozy settings. With the charming towns of Almelo and Wierden close by, there are plenty of options for breakfast, lunch, or dinner after a day of exploring this tranquil Overijssel gem.
Note: During Easter, the event Hexel on Wheels will take place on Saturday, April 4, and Monday, April 6, next to the park. This is a fun cross-event for both young and old. Please note that the event will be audible from within the park.
