The apartment was outdated, the curtains were very difficult to open and close. The fly screen at the door was very dirty, and the lighting inside was minimal. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was fine.

We have been guests of Hermien and Henk before and we really liked it then. So we wanted to go back. We had now booked the Kammenet with a terrace with large barn doors. The view of the farmyard was beautiful. We enjoyed the rural setting so much. And in the evenings of the peace on the farmyard. What a wonderful week that was.

We had 2 wonderful weeks in the cabinet. We were very kindly received by Henk and Hermien. They are very hospitable and ensure that you lack nothing. Really great! The children (son 10 and daughter 14) also loved staying and the rides on the tractor with farmer Geert (son) to feed the calves are unforgettable for them. The cottage is beautiful and fully equipped, it lacks nothing. We also enjoyed the view and .... the peace ..... wonderful! There is much to experience in the Achterhoek. To get ideas: *visit the open-air museum Erve Kots, *a ride with the old steam train in Haaksbergen, *visit castles (including Ruurlo, "s Heerenberg), *quest through the maize field maze at the Melktap, * visit to Erve Brooks in Gelselaar, highly recommended for young and old!Also just to sit in the beautiful garden and have a nice meal.* rent a whisper boat in Hellendoorn and sail on the Regge * to the mill in Zwiep, also for a * visit Hellendoorn amusement park *and a little further away... Wildlands animal park in Emmen *visit the ice cream farm "t Dommerholt in Borculo, with more than 30 flavors of delicious ice cream, which they make themselves, (also with a huge playground) * visits to the many nice cozy towns and villages that the Achterhoek has to offer: Lochem, Coevorden (castle), the Hanseatic cities.
