In the area you can make hiking and cycling tours through the landscape with forests, fields and creeks. The sea is 20 km away. Take a beautiful trip along the Spanish forts and the ports of Terneuzen, the Westerschelde or through the deciduous forest of Plasschaert. Visit the fortified town of Hulst or the cities of Middelburg and Antwerp. The Belgian city of Ghent is 32 km away. The house has a private garden with a terrace. From the terrace you have a beautiful view over the meadows. The garden is fenced off in such a way that dogs can also walk around there safely and independently. The kitchen has an oven, a microwave and a fridge and a freezer. There is WiFi in the house and a maximum of 1 pet is allowed. A bicycle shed is available. In the vicinity of the holiday home there is a golf course, an indoor ski hall and a public swimming pool.

Het was een leuk huisje met een jaren zeventig uitstraling wat het bijzonder maakte. Het heeft alles wat je nodig hebt , alleen moet je zelf handdoeken meenemen. Er is een mooie tuin met uitzicht op de liniedijk, de frontlinie in de 80 jarige oorlog met een aantal forten, en een mooi natuurgebied met kreken. Heerlijk om te wandelen. De prijs was wat aan de hoge kant.

Peace and space. We were kindly received by the neighbor Linda with the key. Upon entering we were surprised by the basket full of tasty stuff. The house is fully equipped, although some furniture is a bit dated. But that also has its charm. The garden has several seating areas, there is always a shaded area, the area is ideally suited for cycling and walking. Each village has its own history, mostly related to the 80 Years War. Many remnants of the Spanish-State line are still visible in the landscape. It is a bird-rich area, along the coast and especially the drowned land of Saeftinghe.Ondanks the extreme heat we had a great week and the house and the surroundings are worth coming back.Gemma and Kees, Dordrecht

Complete house in an agricultural environment. Located on a somewhat busy road, so there is some noise from passing cars. The towns of Hulst, Axel and Terneuzen are a max. of about 15 minutes by car. In Axel there is a beautiful forest where you can enjoy walking! The area is very good for cycling to further destinations such as Sluis, Cadzand and Breskens.
