Water Lodge in Schaijk by the Waterside

I was pleasantly surprised by how modern and clean the lodge was, The heating system worked well, and we loved spending time on the terrace, It felt like a true escape from the city,

A nice, quiet getaway, The lodge had everything we needed, including a comfortable double bed and a well-appointed bathroom, The garden area was lovely to unwind in after a day of exploring,

We had a fantastic weekend! The location is unbeatable, and we enjoyed dining at nearby restaurants, The lodge’s amenities, especially the dishwasher and electric kettle, made our stay so convenient,

This place is a hidden gem! The location right by the water is breathtaking, We took our dog for morning walks along the shore and enjoyed the peaceful surroundings, The lodge itself was modern and comfortable,

Our visit was enjoyable, and we appreciated the pet-friendly policy, The nature reserve nearby was perfect for daily hikes with our dog, The lodge was well-equipped and comfortable for our needs,

Great spot for a family retreat! The open kitchen was fantastic for cooking together, and we appreciated the combination microwave, The kids had a blast in the garden while we relaxed on the terrace,

A straightforward experience overall, The lodge had everything we needed: a fridge, a coffee machine, and even a dishwasher, The bathroom was clean and functional, and the parking was convenient, No complaints here!

What a delightful stay! The lodge was perfect for our family getaway, We loved the open kitchen and the spacious living room, The kids enjoyed their bunk bed while we relaxed on the terrace with a stunning view of the water,

Unfortunately we were very disappointed with the house because it: 1. very very dirty / cutlery - extractor hood was dripping with grease 2. Bed and couch full of dog hair, (very disappointed here because I had previously stated to you that the house should not have dogs beforehand! 3. Vacuum cleaner completely full of dog hair etc. - we had to clean it ourselves before we could vacuum! 4. The facility wasn't really set up for children! 5. It was or is very, very loud in the restaurant due to the play area with climbing frame and bowling alley! 6. The staff behind the reception didn't speak any German, so it was very difficult for me to make myself understood with a few bits of English.

We had a pleasant experience at the lodge, It was spacious enough for our family of five, and we appreciated the separate bathrooms which made mornings much easier, The location is quiet, nestled among greenery, and close to some nice walking trails, It's a straightforward place to stay—clean and comfortable, but lacking some of the extra touches that would make it truly special, Overall, a solid choice for a family vacation
