Bungalow in Zeebad near the Beach

We booked a two-week vacation and brought a dachshund with us. Unfortunately, the property was not fenced but only had a patchy hedge. There were plenty of holiday homes that had a fence. I cannot and must not understand why we were not provided with such a house. The bringing of our dog was already announced at the time of booking, and we also paid the applicable fees for it. A toaster would be an advantage in the kitchen equipment; unfortunately, we searched for it in vain. In my opinion, a washing machine and dryer are part of the standard equipment for a holiday home rented for 14 days. The maintenance of the outdoor area could be improved. On the narrow strip of lawn, about 1 meter wide, around the terrace, thistles are growing, so one has to be careful not to get stung when walking barefoot on the lawn. The sofa in the living room has seen better days. The faux leather is completely worn out and continues to crumble with use. The freezer compartment of the refrigerator was covered with thick ice upon our arrival, and the refrigerator did not look clean, so we cleaned everything ourselves. There was still a lot of dirt on the doormat in the entrance area. The terrace area is unevenly paved, and water collects in front of the entrance door when it rains. In the storage shed, there are two doormats chewed by rats and mice, and you can see rat and mouse droppings. All in all, we believe that for nearly €3000 for a two-week stay, one can expect a clean and well-maintained accommodation. We are disappointed and cannot recommend it. Perhaps Belvilla should take a look at the accommodations they offer on-site themselves or keep a closer eye on their service providers.

There were air conditioners in the bungalow, which we would have liked to use for a fee. Too bad that option/service was not available.

The park is good. The possibility of walking the dog in the park is very good. I can recommend the snack bar and the swimming pool is great. Our house itself was OK, but the kitchen and living room were a bit run down and the location of the house was really bad, as it was on a crossroads and the terrace was on the street with no privacy. The staff were great!

Beautiful house, good facilities and close to the beach.

Very nice lodge consistent with the photos and the description, very well located. The residence is very quiet and very clean, and in the immediate vicinity of the sea on foot. The staff of the entire residence were very welcoming. We appreciated the bike rental, the snack bar, and all the documentation that goes with it. We had a very good stay. We will come back with pleasure.

Cottage very cozy and well located

The house is fine. Some small bedrooms. The fridge is too small for 6 people!!. Wonderfully close to the beach. You can sleep well here, not bothered by noise.

Not all houses of this type are the same, but in general it is very well maintained and quiet, beautiful surroundings also with the beach very close.

A lot of things were broken in the accommodation, the price-performance ratio is not right, completely overpriced for what you get. Amenities not as described, no German TV channels although it was booked. Very disappointing.
