Zeeland Escape w/ Garden

Cozy bungalow, plenty to discover all around, short distances, great beaches.

Great. Delightfully comfortable house. Quiet. Still need sun protection in the kitchen... warm

The property and the house were very nice. However, upon closer inspection, it was not particularly well cleaned and maintained; there were cobwebs and mosquitoes everywhere in the corners. The furniture and shutters were also dirty. The furniture had several stains and scratches... The seating was unfortunately not very comfortable for relaxing. In our house, the outside door of the storage room could not be locked, which was bad. Unfortunately, the house heats up very quickly at slightly elevated temperatures; an air conditioning unit would be necessary here, as we could not leave our dog in the house in the sun. On hot days, the heat remained in the house until the evening, and the windows could only be tilted, making proper ventilation impossible. All in all, the location was nice and the house has potential, but there is still a lot of room for improvement in terms of cleanliness, maintenance, and furnishings.

Beautifully laid out small-scale holiday park. There is enough to do in the area to fill 10 days. A few critical points. Upon arrival, the accommodation was reasonably clean. It could have been cleaner for us. The kitchen showed signs of the previous holidaymakers (fridge, outside of kitchen cabinets with sauce) and the toilet and shower could have been cleaner. Additionally, there were a lot of dust and spider webs and ant nests in the cottage. The outdoor umbrella was unfortunately broken. The toilet splashes quite a bit of (dirty) water when flushed. The high windows in the living room cannot be darkened against the sun, which can make the cottage very warm. Furthermore, butterflies and dragonflies fly inside and cannot find their way back out because the high windows cannot be darkened. The next morning, unfortunately, you can sweep them up. The garden is full of duck and bird droppings, so walking or sitting on the grass is not an option. This also applies to the deck. Because it is a bird-rich holiday park, there is little that can be done about this. The windows in the bedroom can only be opened a little, unfortunately. The floor in the entire bathroom gets very wet during showering. The ventilation in the shower does not work. The fabric (fake leather) of the chairs in the kitchen was already quite damaged. The code lock on the front door does not always work, which means you sometimes have to try 6 times. And then the sheets on the beds (always with Roompot), you have to tuck in again every day because they are sheets without an elastic band to keep them on the mattress. These are a few critical points that I believe can and should be improved, considering the price of this holiday home. All in all, we had a very nice holiday. Perhaps you can no longer have high expectations of a holiday home these days? In the height of summer, we would not want to stay here due to the warm cottage, but in the spring or autumn, it is a lovely place to spend a holiday. Hopefully, the critical points will be taken seriously so that other holidaymakers do not experience any issues.

Very nice place, quiet and relaxing. The chalet was clean, spacious, and very well equipped.

We received a cottage that was different from the photos. We had a 3-meter-high reed forest as a view and no garden by the water as described. That was really disappointing. Also, there was no garden for the dogs, just a wooden terrace. Very disappointing indeed.

Quite a large park. Water Village is well maintained and the houses are beautiful and in good condition. The location near Kamperland is nice, although not our favorite. The park has a wide range of products, the core around the supermarket is old but functional.

Very nice and practically furnished accommodation. All possible comfort, great. Beautiful view to enjoy. Quiet, yet reasonably occupied accommodations. Also in the park, everything is available, and friendly service everywhere. Great.

The house was great! Cozy and well located.
