Nice holiday home in a quiet park, close to the Veerse Meer. The living room has patio doors to the terrace, where you can enjoy the large enclosed garden. The kitchen is equipped with every convenience, such as a dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer, microwave, oven, filter coffee machine and toaster. On the ground floor is a bedroom with 2 single beds. On the 1st floor is a bedroom with a double bed. Of course there is WiFi. 1 pet is allowed.
The house is located on the island of Noord Beveland and is surrounded by the waters of the North Sea, the Veerse Meer and the Oosterschelde. This offers many possibilities for water recreation. Thanks to its favorable location on the Veerse Meer, Kortgene has developed strongly in terms of tourism in recent years. In the season it is pleasantly busy with its nice shops, restaurants and large marina. There are various walking and cycling routes and you can take the ferry to Wolphaartsdijk. The north and east side of Noord Beveland borders the Oosterschelde nature park, which is the largest nature park in the Netherlands. For beach lovers, the Banjaarstrand in Kamperland is 12 kilometers away. The storm surge barrier (Neeltje Jans) is located 8 km away and is worth a visit.

The house has everything you need, suggestions for improvement: separate the shower in the bathroom, after the shower you can clean the whole bathroom and there is a mop for wiping the floor, but no mop. And since you can go on holiday here with a dog, a mop would be appropriate after a week. The garden is great for dogs, everything is fenced off but a gardener could also come through it again. We had to sweep the terrace ourselves and the other half of the terrace is full of moss and a small grill would not be bad either. The house could also have a better sofa in the living room, it is completely worn out and there is no homely atmosphere here to make you feel comfortable. (ps unfortunately we had to wash all the dishes, the cleaning crew left a welcome gift but that was it) But the weather is great and we were able to go out a lot

The house is practically furnished and everything you need is available. However, there are still a number of points for improvement. At the front door is a rickety step where you have to be careful not to break your ankles. Inside it looked neat at first glance, but it wasn't really clean. Several glasses and cups needed a wash before you could use them. The enclosed garden was very nice for the dog. The terrace is full of weeds and a large pile of leaves lay in a corner under the roof. The roof itself may be repainted. All in all not a great stay, but we had a great time. It is a good base for nice trips in the area.

Nice house, very complete. It is strange that there is only one empty socket in the (main) bedroom. So: whether the (otherwise very beautiful) table lamp, or the alarm clock, or the charger of one telephone can be connected! I opted for the alarm clock, but it has a too short cord so that you cannot reach the bedside table with it. We also spent the evenings and mornings in the cold due to persistent heating problems.
