Drenthe Family Getaway w/ Garden

Very nice area, well maintained vacation village, with sport fields, outside and inside pools. There is a restaurant which was never open during our stay and the snack bar served only burgers, fries and some sausages. No coffee shop or any other restaurants/shops here. The village is not close and to be honest not sure what stores are there. Now, the house is small, like very small bedrooms and bathroom. It doesn’t have two bathrooms, this is misleading. There is one very small toilet and the shower with a sink is separate. No toiletries, not even a little hand soap. They offer one toilet paper roll and that’s it. The kitchenette is small but it’s ok. It has a coffee machine, kettle, gas range and a little electric oven. The fridge is small size, which is ok, and has freezer. There is a dishwasher, and they leave for you a small dishwasher soap, 2 dishwasher tablets, a sponge and dish cloth. There is no paper towel. There are dishes, pots, cutleries. NO COFFEE FILTERS, at all, so if you plan to have a coffee in the morning, buy coffee, sugar and filters. There is no oil, or a little salt, pepper, ketchup…. Nothing! I booked initially 2 people and asked for bed sheets, and then I informed them we will be 6. They add extra charge, but no extra bedsheets. Although you must pay for cleaning, they ask to leave it tidy, to take out the bedsheets, wash and put away all the dishes. We liked our little patio with table and chairs, the water canal was right in the back of our house and lots of birds and ducks. It was an annoying smell of cows and manure two of the mornings, but not the other two. All in all, we enjoyed the stay, it’s nice, however there are a few things that could be fixed.

Positive: A very nice area and a beautiful park. Negative: A nice house, which is slowly being used up. The final cleaning should not have been charged to the previous tenant, and probably not to us either. We first cleaned the house for 2 hours Beds with their blue covers were not cleaned, there was still a lot of hair from the previous guest. The floor had not been cleaned and there was dirt everywhere in all corners and on all surfaces. The kitchen was covered with grease sharpeners from the last use, crockery and cutlery Dirty. The kitchen table was still covered with sticky fruit juices. The TV screen was so clean it was as if you were watching "The Fog of Horror" on it. We don't go to this park anymore, but to this area

The park was very nicely laid out. The staff were very nice and tried hard. The holiday home, however, was an impertinence! It was like later to read in the small print not the house in the pictures when booking. The first impression from the outside was ok but inside was Everything shabby and shabby. The cabinet doors in the bedrooms could not be opened and in the kitchen a door even fell off when opening! The refrigerator was dirty and smelled unpleasant and there were still defrosted ice cube bags in the freezer! Unfortunately, this list could go on!

Beautiful surroundings and a beautiful bungalow, already been for the second time I would like to go there again

You can't get to the house with dry feet. The benches are really worn out. You cannot take a shower without the entire shower being flooded. That's the main things…

First get the disappointment of a different cottage than you have booked and then you enter the cottage (upgraded) and it stinks of sewage. They put something strongly odorous in it which disappeared after 2 hours and smells like sewer again. Not happy.

Excellent accommodation, modern, spacious and fully equipped.

great park. plenty to do in the omgeving.huisje itself was good and spacious enough, just not completely clean, shower water did not drain properly.

What a beautiful place! The surroundings were peaceful, and we enjoyed leisurely walks in the area, Our chalet was modern and bright, making it a lovely spot to unwind after a day of exploring

Despite the Corona measures we still enjoyed a nice holiday. The cottage was simple but spacious. Good and fast assistance from the TD in case of a central heating malfunction.
