Comfortable chalet located in the Polder

A great retreat for pet owners! We enjoyed taking our dog for walks along the canals and in the nearby nature reserve, The off-leash areas were perfect for letting him run around,

This chalet is a hidden gem! The French garden doors opened up to a lovely terrace, where we spent many evenings enjoying the sunset, Such a peaceful setting,

The shared swimming pool was a highlight for our family, The kids loved splashing around while I enjoyed some time in the garden, It was a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle,

The surroundings were beautiful. But unfortunately we had a lot of problems with the chalet. It was very dirty. The floor was not vacuumed or swept because it was dusty. One of the things that bothered us the most was that there were mosquito blood stains all over the walls. Sometimes dead mosquitoes were stuck to the walls. There was a lot of dust above the sockets, on the window sills and in the corners of the room. In addition, there was not a single hanger/hook in the bathroom to hang towels or bathrobes on. What a pity!

We liked it very much overall, the only thing we have to complain about is the lack of mosquito nets. So we were always dealing with mosquitoes at night and the children couldn't sleep very well. When we asked, we were told that such nets were not installed. The parking lot is much too small, it was always a lot of effort to reverse the car out of the driveway. We'll refrain from going into further negative details. And now come to the positive. We didn't think the bread roll service and the park with lots of options were bad. For example, the pool, children's entertainment, bike rental, friendly staff. What we missed was repairing broken furnishings (toilet lid, wardrobe, attaching mosquito nets).

Nice chalet. Spacious garden. Some overdue maintenance here and there.

During the stay paving work was carried out on our terrace. And that from 7 a.m. in the morning 😡😡😡

So we thought it was really nice because we and my children didn't want to go home anymore, there was a lot going on and for the children there was so much that there was no boredom.

No pool, only voucher, house inventory only sufficient minus, but nice service in the restaurant...

Nice park. Well maintained. If something is not in order, eg a door handle is loose, it will be repaired the next day. Nice area for walking and cycling.
