The chalet was clean and well-equipped, providing us with everything we needed for a comfortable stay, The two en-suite bathrooms were a real plus, ensuring privacy for everyone, Although it was situated near the water, we appreciated the quietness of the area, We spent our days exploring local attractions like Kasteel Sterkenburg and enjoyed some lovely dining options close by, Overall, a pleasant experience, although we wished the weather had been a bit nicer to fully enjoy the outdoor space

We had a wonderful stay at the Gorgeous Riverside Chalet! The interior was tastefully decorated and incredibly comfortable, making it feel like a home away from home, The terrace overlooking the Kromme Rijn was the perfect spot for morning coffee and evening barbecues, The location is peaceful yet convenient for exploring nearby Utrecht, Highly recommend this place for a relaxing getaway!

Family Teichert July 2020We spent a wonderful holiday in this tastefully furnished house. Despite the fact that we arrived too early, we were able to check in before the agreed time. The house is very clean and has a large terrace right on the river. If you want, you can step into the refreshing water via a footbridge / ladder and swim against the current. A bike path is not far from the house, from where you can wonderfully explore the surrounding area. A bakery or SPAR can be easily reached by bike or on foot. The house itself has two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. These rooms share a common living area in which the kitchen is integrated. There are parking spaces at the house and the bicycles can be safely parked in the property. A very big thank you goes to our dear hosts Sandra and John, who were very attentive. As a welcome there was a cherry cake and a bottle of wine was already waiting in the refrigerator. The towels and bed linen were changed on request. A great service! We got some good tips from our hosts. Problems couldn't even arise. A note for all TV junkies. There is no TV in the property and that's a good thing ;-) We never missed it. Thanks for the nice time. We felt welcome in a beautiful house! The environment is nice with good parking space.

Overall a great experience! The hosts were friendly and welcoming, I appreciated the free WiFi and parking, The only downside was the distance to some attractions, but nothing too crazy, The beauty of the area makes up for it!

We were more than enthusiastic about this beautiful house! From our host Sandra we were already expected and warmly received with a delicious Kirschkuchen and other specialties from the area. The house looks exactly as in the pictures: tastefully decorated, with a great design. It was very clean and well maintained. The large and beautiful wooden terrace invites you to cozy seats ...... located directly on the Kromme Rijn. There is also the possibility to rent kayaks nearby and paddle along the river. The surrounding area is full of castles, country estates and sights (such as the Witch Scale in Oudewater) For excursions, Who likes to take trips by bike, will find many beautiful routes here. Also, Utrecht is only 20 minutes away by car - so there are many ways to spend your holidays. For us it was a wonderful, beautiful holiday and if we could we would have liked to stay longer!
