It is particularly popular with water sports enthusiasts and beach holidaymakers. You can get over the rocks in several places directly into the sea, which is very deep in some places and therefore unsuitable for non-swimmers. Also visit Portoferraio and stroll through the streets of the Italian city. When the weather is nice, a crossing from the port in Portoferraio to the mainland is also worthwhile.

Getting into the water could be improved, the directions still contain a wrong name: the restaurant downstairs is called Aquasalata, but Cota Quinta is well signposted, but the road is very, very narrow, we recommend a small, especially narrow, rental car! We really liked the location, even though the driveway was exciting (very narrow and only possible for experienced drivers), the apartment was clean and simply furnished, swimming over the rocks was great! Much nicer than the recommended beaches, Clear water
