About Property
The attractive holiday home is located in Messinia, between the places Velika at 3 km and Petalidi at 5 km where all amenities are available. The holiday home is located directly on the sea, through the garden gate you walk on a narrow sand-pebble beach and you can swim in the quiet bay with beautiful views of the Taigetos Mountains on the Mani on the other side. At the garden gate is a terrace with table and chairs. This pebble beach extends all the way to Kalamata at 35 km. The view over the bay is phenomenal and the plot is 4000m2 with olive and fruit trees.
The house is suitable for 4 adults and 2 children up to 60 kg per child.
A simple campsite is located 80 meters away, where you can enjoy coffee, drinks and small snacks. 200 meters up the mountain is a restaurant called POULAKOS, there is also a bus stop here.
For hikers there is a walking booklet of this region available in Dutch, English and German.
There are beautiful old villages to visit and the people love it when tourists come.
A rental car is recommended to view this beautiful area. Old Messinia is a 45-minute drive away.
Flying from Amsterdam from April to the end of September directly on Kalamata is possible.
We are willing to pick up the guests at the airport of Kalamata.

Before our departure we had contact with the owners of the villa by email. They offered us to pick us up at a pre-arranged place upon arrival and guide us further to the house. That was nice because the villa is a bit difficult to find for the first time. When we arrived, we were shown around the grounds and the holiday home. The house is very clean, tidy and everything is whole. The owners had provided a stocked refrigerator with supplies for the first day. Also during our stay the owners in the background made sure that we lacked nothing. The estate is located in a beautiful part of Greece, right by the sea in complete tranquility. Every morning, before breakfast, we walked a little through the garden, through the gate and we went swimming. Since we wanted a quiet holiday, we made a trip every other day. In the nearby area are a maximum of 45 minutes to 1 hour's drive to beautiful interesting towns worth seeing. A rental car is recommended. The roads are great and the views are beautiful. We enjoyed this vacation; from the villa, the area and the caring owners.

Because house (located between two villages on the Gulf of Messenia) would be hard to find the first time, the owner will pick you up at an agreed spot in a nearby village. Runs smoothly. The cottage is calculated on 4 adults we were two, so the house offered excellent comfort. House is well equipped, you will not miss anything. You can find shade around the house at any time of the day. House is right on the sea, through the garden gate you walk on a narrow sand-pebble beach and you can swim in the quiet bay with beautiful views of the Taigetos Mountains on the Mani on the other side. At the garden gate is a covered terrace with table and chairs and a shower. A few kilometers away is the village of Petalidi where you can do your shopping and where there are terraces. The homeowners are hospitable and cordial and also live locally. They are very helpful and approachable if you need or want to know something.

Beautiful spacious house with spacious terrace and sun terrace in large olive grove, very well equipped. The owner, a Dutch couple, also lives on the property. The site is walled and leads directly through a gate to a very quiet pebble beach. Because the terrain is closed and flat, it is very suitable for children. However, the house has a steep open staircase to the bedrooms. Downstairs is a large bedroom and a bathroom with toilet, upstairs are two bedrooms with a second bathroom and toilet. At the gate is a fridge, a bar, a toilet and a shower. There is also a petanque job. A carport is available for the car. The owners are warm and very helpful and spoil you with wine, own olive oil, olives, lemons, oranges, eggs. They also provide a lot of information about the environment, including a Dutch-language booklet with very nice walking routes. Because the house is hard to find, the owner will pick you up from the main road. They have a dog, a shepherd. For shopping you have to go to Petalidi, 5 km away. Kalamata airport is 35 km. Sightseeing nice villages like Petalidi, beautiful sandy beach at Pylos, forts at Pylos, Koroni and Methoni. Olympia is easy to reach.
