New Apartment Notre Dame de Paris/Luxembourg

When we arrived there was another family occupying the residence. Our host and Belvilla did not answer the phone. We were left to find our own accommodation for our trip. The host, Studio Prestige simply told us to request a refund. We have contacted VRBO about a refund and had to book a different hotel. This was a ridiculous situation considering we booked in March.

Here are a couple different things. From an apartment perspective it is beautiful. The description said the two rooms had king size beds, but that is not actually true. They are both queen size. The apartment is missing a couple of touches to really make it more comfortable like hooks in the bathroom to hang your towels, a little soap dish, the stove tub is convection yet the pots available are not-so you cannot cook. In terms of our stay, right when we got here, the downstairs neighbor harassed us quite a bit-she did not speak any English, and we do not speak French-come to find out that she was complaining because of leaks from the bathroom, damaging her apartment. She ended up coming back and knocking on our door with another neighbor that translated for us and asked us not to take showers. The following day they sent a plumber to fix the bathroom, but advise us not to use it for 24 hours. Needless to say this is not something that we would like to deal with while on vacation. Besides that in terms of location accessibility everything else was great.

Staying here was a delight, The flat was tastefully decorated and had a warm, inviting atmosphere, The dining table was great for family meals, and the kitchen made cooking a breeze, Plus, the heating kept us cozy during the cooler nights,

The flat is well-located in downtown Paris, making it easy to explore the city, The bedroom was cozy with a comfortable double bed, I appreciated the room-darkening shades for a good night's sleep, The shower had great water pressure, and the bathroom was clean and well-stocked with essentials,

This place is fantastic for a group! The double sofa bed in the living room is a nice touch, and the flat is spacious enough for everyone to feel comfortable, The play area was a hit with the kids, keeping them entertained while we relaxed,
