Villa in France with Private Pool

Accommodation was spacious in area, but value for money was not ok. Apart from the refrigerator and dishwasher, all other appliances were very outdated (washing machine old and not very clean at all, oven and micro very old), very little equipped kitchen: for example, we had to buy a peeling and cutting knife to be able to cook, mixer and other basic kitchen equipment was not present. The kitchen cabinets were also worn out. (Fiber boards visible) Really not what you expect from a home where you pay more than 4000 euros for 8 sleeping places (+2 in a sofa bed). So in that sense, the arrival was a disappointment. Although the pool was very large and located in a beautiful garden, it was in urgent need of a makeover: interior lining that peels off and wooden surrounds around which you have to step on of which the slats are often broken! Finally, the biggest disappointment: the pool had to be sealed with a tarpaulin and iron bars via a manual system. This was a really tough physical effort and very unpleasant to do twice a day. Incomprehensible. The house really gives the feeling that one strives for the greatest possible return with as little investment as possible. The photos were clearly taken by a stylist who presented reality a little bit differently. The description also states that there is a jacuzzi, but the reality is that there are three 30-year-old jets built into an ordinary bath. The holiday was nice, the area is top in the woods and close to the beach, but the house was still a disappointment. (yet another example: a house rental for 10 people that costs more than 4000 eur, where 2 people have to sleep on a sofa bed, and then you have 4 sun loungers (?), an outside table with 6 (!) chairs ... .)

We arrived late in the evening and we were able to retrieve the key from a letterbox with a personal code. This was very nice.The cottage was in a quiet place next to a forest edge.The accommodation is nice but not very clean.We had a 10 person house but there were only 7 chairs inside and 8 chairs outside.There were only 5 at the pool sunbeds.

Lovely house with fantastic pool, decor inside is fine, good beds, clean, here and there some less maintenance (loose stone, spotty lock etc.). Cleaning can (if desired) do. Privacy and tranquility, no neighbors saw or heard. lots to do in the area. A nice quiet beach nearby and for those who want a lively beach with shops a little further. Golf course nearby. We rented bikes and cycled to a lake (Léon) where we could suppen (stand-up paddeling). Day of San Sebastian is also recommended.

beautiful houses in a very quiet park, bordering forest. Beautiful design of house, garden is good, lovely to sit in it. You do not have to have a good holiday hebben.Advies to bicycles to take with or to rent to beach to go, because the distance to the beach (2 km) is too far to walk with children.
