What a fantastic place! You hope that your holiday home looks like this, but if it actually does, then you are a lucky person. Beautiful house, in a beautiful village. We were welcomed very hospitably and given a short tour. The house is fully equipped: good beds, nice kitchen, very good WiFi, garden furniture. Everything was more than present. One day the dishwasher broke down, after 2 hours the owner was already on the doorstep with a technician. Fantastic! The village of Montclus is very beautiful. Very quiet. The area is very nice, we made several trips to markets - Goudargues and Barjac -, to Gorges de l'Ardeche, Avignon, etc. All tips and road maps are already present in the house, just like barbecue equipment such as firelighters and charcoal. In short; fantastic house, great host and beautiful surroundings!

Quietly located house with private parking in a beautiful area.

We were there for two weeks and there is nothing to complain about! Clean, spacious and quiet and a great view!

Neat house in a beautiful village and beautiful surroundings. the house is spacious and neat. Good facilities, good beds, good sofa, etc. The interior is rural and very neat. The house is a bit dark and that has been compensated by stucking everything neatly white. The latter makes it a bit sterile. there is a nice terrace but keep in mind that it only offers a view of the wall of the house opposite. There is no bakery in the village, which we found to be a loss if you are in a village. The quality of the house partly made up for that.

Perfectly restored stone house in the historic village - Montclus is a completely preserved castle pond on the banks of the Ceze river. During the season there is a market with regional products every Tuesday. The castle ruins can be visited, occasionally cultural events take place there. - The house - with a beautiful view of the surrounding area - has 3 full bedrooms with very good beds, a shower room, 2 separate toilets, kitchen, large living room, a covered terrace and a sun terrace, 2 parking spaces on the property. The banks of the Ceze with very nice bathing places are barely 300 m away and always beckons for a refreshing swim. Montclus is quiet and has no through traffic. Nevertheless, sights and natural beauties can be reached quickly (Ardeche 20 km, Pont du Gard 50 km ...)

the second year that we got there and we can only confirm our review of last year: in one word: fantastic. The wifi "problem" is also solved, there is now free wifi in the village, unfortunately there was something wrong with the router during our stay, but that would be solved.

Everything was in order.

Very sympathetic hostess, tour of village by hostess. Cozy village, near river with beach, 2 restaurants nearby, good connection to other cities. House spacious enough for family with 2 children, all necessary amenities available, terrace for breakfast outside, nearest shops about 10 km away, bakery will arrive every day (on town square).
