Villa in Rhone Alpes with Private Pool

Upon arriving a bit late due to bad weather, we were greeted by someone who quickly showed us around. The house was more than large enough, with 4 double-bed bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Everything was well equipped. There was a small issue with the fridge door being loose, but it didn't bother us during our stay and the fridge worked as it should. The only thing missing was an ironing board, as there was an iron but nothing to use it on (for those who need it). The house was clean, but not super clean. As we paid 130 euro for cleaning, we expected it to be bright and shiny. We hadn't booked the bed linnen package, so we had a clear look at the pillows, mattresses and mattress protectors. These had massive yellow sweatstains from previous visitors, which we mentioned to the landlady. She arranged for new mattress protectors, and we washed the pillow cases ourselves. It was unfortunate that we had to sleep on them for a night. The swimming pool was quite large, but the water was green during the first 3 days. We didn't complain about it, and it was solved on day 4 by the landlady. In the end we did enjoy our stay and we loved the region in particular!

Good description of the house, everything was well cared for, clean. Smooth contact with the person in charge who delivered the key and had to come and repair us once when we were locked outside by one of the children. Also in the event of a damage (parasol blown over after which the parasol base broke (it was 35 ° in the shade during that period)), this was resolved very quickly and we soon received a replacement base for it. What is always a plus for us is a well-equipped kitchen and this was certainly the case here. In short, great stay!

neat, well-kept. Too bad we had to wait 45 minutes for the person to open the door. The reception was warm. Minus was that the outdoor table (in scaffolding wood) was completely deformed by the heat. This was certainly not safe to eat because of the many rusted screws that protruded. We immediately reported this problem on the spot but unfortunately no solution was found by the owner. The person on the spot kept us well informed.
