Peaceful Retreat in Alora for Families and Friends

Very warm! Clean house and grounds, lots of privacy Fantastic pool

The owners of this property Paco and Maria are incredibly friendly, hospitable and helpful. The house is secluded amidst many olive trees but since we were looking for privacy and tranquility, this was ideal for us. Many fruit and vegetables were also grown on the plot. On arrival we received a bottle of delicious olive oil, pressed by the owners, aubergines, limes, apples, prunes, ... Delicious! The nearest supermarket was only 5 km away and the center at about 8 km where you really found everything you needed. We have spent a lot of time with the children in the pool but have also been to the zoo, amusement park, beach, .. all were on max 1h drive were. We also visited Granada which was 2 hours away. We were two families with young children and for us the house was extremely suitable. We ate together in the pool house where you had a small utility room with fridge, but also toilet and shower in a separate outbuilding and in the evening everyone still had the necessary privacy because the house really consisted of two individual apartments. The pool was also blissful and perfectly maintained, just like the rest of the plot. This was done by the owners themselves, every morning very early while we were still asleep so they also took very good account of our peace and privacy. If I can give one point of criticism, it is that I have missed a dishwasher). The latter does not mean, however, that we have had a great holiday here with two families and that we can only recommend to visit Paco and Maria!

We enjoyed our stay. The house was beautifully situated, spacious and quiet with lots of privacy. The host and wife were very friendly and helpful. The environment is fantastic. The house is indeed somewhat remote but is still a good base for trips to the cities of Cordoba and Malaga. In the immediate vicinity is also a lot to do, The beautiful lake at Ardales, the Caminto del Rey which is very worthwhile. Too much to mention.Een recommended.

Nice, very large house with a nice swimming pool. Cottage is remote, but also quiet. We enjoyed!

Alora is a perfect base for reaching a number of Andalusian top destinations. Seville, Cordoba and Granada are about a 2-hour drive away. Ronda and Malaga are an hour away from the holiday home. Antequera, near the El Torcal nature reserve, is around 40 minutes away. Also the coast is not far away. We (with our 2 young children) rode twice to the sea, once in Marbella and once in Malaga. And even closer is a fantastic lake (El Chorro - Ardales), where you can swim, pedalo, canoeing, ... The holiday home has everything we needed. Two TVs are even though they did not stand up. The swimming pool is wonderfully refreshing. In fact there is also a nice annexe with extra WC and shower, which can not be seen on the pictures. The owners Are super friendly and hugely hospitable.We really thought this was a top vacation!

very nice house, just a hacienda, stunning panoramic views, quiet, Granada, Cordéba, Antequera, Torcal, Ronda, etc. all within driving distance of all home comforts voorzien.we have really enjoyed ourselves and want to try again next spring to go.

The children particularly enjoyed the great pool and had their own floor. The sunny position on a slope with a great view. The cottage is very quiet and l ํ t to relax. We were Haupts ์ hlich for climbing in Andalucia. From our house you can reach El Chorro in less than twenty minutes. These five other areas such as Mijas, El Torcal, Loja, etc. within one hour. In Alora you quickly shopping - Granada was a great day trip. For all the cottage was the right base ...

The house is located on steep hillside with beautiful views. The house is ideal for two families. There is a nice pool and a spacious garden with lots of privacy and tranquility. It is somewhat remote. The owner is friendly, helpful and welcoming.
