Cottage in La Joya with Pool and Garden

Holiday period was 6 to 19 September Temp gem. 30 degrees, had no rain. For lovers of tranquility, excellent. Location on a mountain in appearance powerful. (Minor thing, there is a hedge placed the view from the pool now hampers. If that path then it is totally awesome). Almost all facilities, including satalite TV and flat screen. (No Wifi but vodafone receiving H +). Own transport is (almost) a must.Schoonmaak 1 time per week, pool man comes about one time in four days. Hotel / restaurant (restaurant opened in 1930) about 1km away. Village of La Joya 2km away. Small supermarket and bakery and restaurant (Monday / Tuesday closed). Making money / fuel, shopping in the immediate vicinity can Antequerra at 17km rijden.Van the Casa Torcalillos to the highway takes about 25 minutes from this are auto.Van park Lobo (wolf) and watch the Torcal Antequerra (walks with views) fun trips . We also went to Seville, Granada, Ronda, Nerja, Cordoba and Malaga. Allen beautiful cities and a lot to zien.Al all had a wonderful holiday.

The cottage is located in the countryside with great views and beautiful sunsets. You must be sure to stand, because the hedge is too high for some to watch. This hedge is however ensures privacy. Although it is not very clean, it had atmosphere. There was a bottle of wine and a basket with contents in welcome. We have not seen during our stay and had no internet. This is what you like. The tv was completely disrupted and the stereo was missing. A private swimming pool is nice, but we had to do the necessary salamanders and mice out of it. The washing machine is very convenient, but is under a heavy table, so you must be pretty creative to the powder in the soap dish to get. This is not disputed by the table edge and slide is not there! All in all a house with lots of pros and cons!

Casa Torcalillos was the ideal base for a week in which we wanted to do little more than relax, swim and read. The views over the valleys below were beautiful, and the sound of goats being herded on the paths below was something special. The villa itself sits a top a hill at the end of a winding road and, though two other villas lead off the same road, it is privacy defined. The villa and pool are more than sufficient for a couple, and the facilities inside the cottage were absolutely fine. Our only issue was the heat in the bedroom – it felt hotter even than outside and the overhead fan did little to cool the room, thus sometimes making it difficult to sleep. That said, our stay was during the hottest month of the year so perhaps this would not be an issue the rest of the time. The covered patio area was a lovely spot for an evening barbecue, and the open patio space was bathed in sun from 8am to 8pm, making it a great spot for sunbathing. All in all, a cute little cottage in a fantastic location.

A wonderful house with a fantastic view and lots of rest. Everything was neatly trimmed, even a bag of groceries was already waiting for us. The photo on the site is dated, there is now a low hedge around and there is a pergola with a grape which makes for some shade. All in all it is still better to become. The last week of September and the first week of October, we have been a guest at Casita Torcalillos. It was a wonderful time. The view is overwhelming. The sun plays during the day with the landscape and the sunrise and sunset are beautiful. Unlike in the picture was the terrace to the house where we stayed completely surrounded by greenery so we had privacy. Besides Torcalillos there are 2 houses on the property. Of this is in no way been hindered. 2 times per day the goatherd over. Through bells around their necks you heard the herd already arriving in the distance. This was a nice perk. The living room / hall is certainly small but because you live outside all day no problem. Outside is a large covered dining table + chairs and loungers are fine. Recommended because of the beautiful view and the ideal place to visit. Cities like Seville, Granada and Cordoba
