Pretty Villa with Sun Loungers

Arrived at a lovely villa with a private pool.

The villa had everything we needed. The pool was fantastic and really refreshing.

The staff made sure everything was taken care of from check-in to check-out. The pool area felt like a vacation haven, especially after long days exploring Calonge's charming streets. Just sitting by the water put me in a good mood right away!

Overall impression? Great value for couples looking for some relaxation time together! Spacious bedrooms gave us both our space while still being able to hang out comfortably in common areas like the living room or balcony.

This was one of the worst experiences we have had. First of I would like to point out the fact that this is supposed to be a PRIVATE villa, despite this, the owner lives on the same property just behind the house. In addition to this we would see him regularly, which again makes me question just how PRIVATE this house really was. Our check-out time was at 12pm, despite this the owner showed up at 9am and practically threw us out or thats what it felt like. Now on the page of the accomadation it is said that there is Airco present. The ONLY airco was in the poolhouse and even worse it wasnt even useable as there wasnt a remote to turn it on. Not only that but the poolhouse kitchen was COMPLETELY EMPTY (and we already didnt have enough kitchen stuff for the indoor kitchen). It is also listed that there is a sun shower and iron+ironing board, these were no where to be found. In the playroom the Billiard board was un-useable because of the fabric on top being ripped In the en-suite-bathroom there was a horrible sewer smell that was unbearable. Also if person 1 got a nice hot shower then person 3 sure didnt. There was not enough hot water for 8 of us. The kitchen was by-far the worst; Very un-equiped, there were not enough plates and cups that were the same for 8 people, barely enough pots and pans to make a meal, the coffe machine was moldy and the appliances seemed old. Outside the pool was always full of very much living bugs, not just wasps but some kind of living water insect(water boatman bugs). These insects bit our legs and caused itchy bites. There were no beach umbrellas and the sun loungers were in bad shape and very very uncomfortable. The pillows for said loungers were in horrible condition, the fabric was ripped and the strings were torn off.

We are missing de 5th bedroom like described on the site of belvilla. The website also described that there was a airco, but there is not. Upstairs is it 30-35 degrees. There is a beautiful garden and a great pool. It is cleaned and the owner of the villa is verry nice and helpfull. In the kitchen you are missing some stuff like a good cuttingboard and good knifes. Butt its beautifull here and outside you can sit in the shadow for the kids. Overall its amazing, but we are missing the 5th bedroom a lot because of oure children.
