We are a couple, 50+ and have stayed here for 2 weeks in October. Just really good here! Very sweet and attentive hostess, busy with everything and very involved. The (lower) house is large, comfortable and fully equipped. Nice and fresh, good beds and lots of privacy. The garden is also what the site says: large and lots of privacy. Deifeld is one of the smaller villages belonging to the municipality of Medebach. Very quiet here. Attention! This holiday address is suitable for people who love German solidity and conviviality. The interior of the house is a bit dated and the values & norms here are also "real German". It is definitely an advantage if you like an attentive chat and want to leave your fast & modern life in the Netherlands for a while! Relaxing is the key here! We love it. Life here for us is comparable to Austria (in summer) outside the cities. Beautiful nature of course also. We are real Burgundians and initially choked a bit on the offer of catering in the vicinity. Please note that in Deifeld and the surrounding area there is no/little catering industry as we are used to in the Netherlands. For everything easily 10 minutes in the car. But wherever you go to eat, you will get downright good food! Willingen and Winterberg are the larger and more modern (tourist) places and there is also a wider range of catering options. Also consider the opening hours of the shops, which differs quite a bit with the Netherlands. In itself there are plenty of supermarkets and SMEs in the area. Just go! 10 points.
