Holiday home in Marcourt with garden

Staying here while working remotely was pleasant enough. I enjoyed the comfortable seating and relaxed atmosphere.

I really liked exploring the nearby forest trails. It was peaceful and perfect for unwinding with my thoughts.

The staff were friendly when we arrived, showing us around the house right away. Everything felt convenient from check-in to using facilities like the BBQ.

The rooms have been renovated, but the shower drains poorly. It takes a long time for hot water to come. Furthermore, this house is super outdated. Equipment that all needs to be replaced. Sometimes it doesn't work or things need to be cleaned. Bed linen must be brought by everyone. The carpeting in the hallway and on the stairs is dirty and outdated. No, this is not a property that is rented out with love. It is only to make money with minimal investment.

Filthy, a lot of mold and not cleaned. Serious doubts about fire safety. The furniture is also poor. More than 10 garden chairs set aside because it is unsafe. For example, the sofa inside is very old and in bad condition. We will definitely never come back here. 😞🥲 Not rentable in this condition!!!

It is a large and spacious house, disadvantage is really the hygiene house not clean. On arrival the whole house cleaned, for the rest the facilities are very good and there are nice bathrooms in the rooms (disadvantage is that in the double rooms there is only a bath and you have to shower standing with shower head in hand.

Stayed a weekend with a group of 18 in the house. Spacious rooms each with own bathroom, which is specific and unique value of this house. Large living room / dining room which due to it"s U-shape lends for "break-out" activities. Twin/double beds are great, some of the bunk beds were older. Some of the bathrooms renovated and nice, others not yet. Kitchen is adequate, dineware and glassware is a mix of various types but functional. Although next to a road / croassing, no issue with noisy traffic as it is very quiet in the evenings

Clean and comfortable accommodation, The layout worked well for our group of friends, We appreciated the en-suite bathrooms in each room, It would have been nice to have a few more options for dining within walking distance, but overall, a solid experience

First the "positive": We were granted a departure in the afternoon in advance - at no extra charge. The manager is very friendly and helpful and was immediately there to help us out when we were looking for missing forks. The bathrooms are very nicely done. And now to the rest of the house: The pictures on the internet are a huge deception! The house offers endless potential for disgust: there was dust and dust mice in the bedrooms. There were empty bottles under the beds and couch from one of our previous tenants. There is even mold in places (e.g. behind the large picture in the dining room). The lounge at the top not only smells musty, but the OSB wall covering is obviously rotting. It's a shame - with proper care and cleanliness it would really be a nice place to stay, but in its current condition we can only advise against it.
