Spacious and comfortable, this is a 5-bedroom holiday home in Jupille, in the Belgian Ardennes region. It has a private sauna to relax and unwind after having a long day. You can stay here in comfort with a large family of 12 persons or 2 smaller families.

The region comprises of a beautiful forest area and has good connectivity with the tourist city of La Roche, the charming city of Durbuy and river Ourthe. In the area, you can go walking, swimming, hiking, mountain biking, etc. Supermarkets and restaurants are at 4 km. For an evening stroll, the town centre rests at 5 km. You can go for a leisurely walk by the lake at 5 km also.

This holiday home has central heating for comfort in the winter season. You can enjoy the hours of sunshine in the private furnished garden or on the private terrace. In leisure hours, you can play table tennis. Children have a playground with a sandpit and boule's court to enjoy themselves outdoors. 4 Parking spaces are available at the front of the house.

    I have been waiting for more than a month for my deposit. The owner is not refunding my deposit because she has not yet received rent from Belvilla. I would never rent a house through Belvilla and will tell all my friends not to do it either; moreover, I will post a review with a negative experience stating that they do not refund the deposit. Truly disgusting!

    We are extremely disappointed with this holiday home. Upon arrival, we quickly noticed that the quality was far from acceptable and that there was a lot of deferred maintenance. The downstairs bedroom had a door that stuck. The downstairs bathroom was damp, smelled bad, the mirrors were worn out, and there was a broken lamp hanging. The toilet in the basement did not work, and the walls were covered in mold. In the kitchen, the drain was broken, and there was mold there as well. The BBQ was dirty, and the grill was full of rust. Additionally, there were small but annoying issues like dead batteries in the remote control, which we had to replace ourselves. The balcony had rotten beams, and the bunk bed was broken, which meant we had to fix it every day. The upstairs bathroom also felt unsafe, with loose shelves where you had to be careful where you placed your hands. The garden was also disappointing: several chairs and loungers were broken, the sandbox was full of weeds, and there was a loose board on the play equipment. Finally, we could not take the meter readings for water, electricity, and gas because we simply had no access to them. As if all this was not enough, we never received a response to our complaint through Belvilla after our stay. We had to endlessly push for the return of the deposit and move heaven and earth ourselves. All in all, this was a huge disappointment. We expected a nice and carefree holiday, but due to the poor condition of the property and the bad service, that was absolutely not the case.

    We had to wait two hours before we could go inside. Then we spent more than 24 hours trying to get the heating turned off (which could only be done by the manager). The first night we slept very poorly because of the heat in the house. Belvilla is very poorly reachable by phone and provides bad/no service. Eventually, with a lot of effort (when we had someone who spoke good French), we were able to arrange things directly with the owner. The house is for twelve people, of which 1 toilet is out of order, and both bathrooms and the other two toilets cannot be locked. There is a leaking pipe and a dripping faucet. It is especially annoying when water (and energy: heating) are charged separately at high rates. The code for the waste containers was also incorrect and took some effort to resolve. Both weekends there was quite a bit of noise disturbance from neighbors (in similar holiday homes), until deep into the night (even until 03:00!). The coolest room in the house is unusable because the door is so jammed that it is almost impossible to open and close (and certainly not at night without waking everyone up). And that is of course a shame when it gets above 30 degrees... Not recommended and we will definitely not be coming back. I am curious if the settlement of the deposit will cause any problems.

    Very bad. Worthless landlord. Electricity and water meters are not visible, so consumption cannot be checked. Now this does not matter, because the 500 euro deposit that you pay, you do not get back. Text messages to the owner are not or poorly responded to. Belvilla is also very disappointing as an intermediary. 20-30 emails sent, but they respond with standard emails. Say that they are doing everything they can, but from September 2024 to the present, February 2025, have not received anything. The house has overdue maintenance, the sauna outside is dirty, the toilet downstairs keeps running. Be careful not to fall through the balcony above. Wood is rotten. Planks of the veranda outside are also rotten. Chairs are broken, but are still put down. NEVER RENT THIS HOUSE. Disappointing that the house is still for rent at Belvilla, but also at other rental platforms. Apparently that is only about cashing in. All in all a very unpleasant experience.

    The price-quality ratio was very good. We enjoyed our stay. The house was nice and spacious, and we appreciated the surroundings as well. However, communication with the owner was rather difficult. He had our arrival dates wrong and hadn"t cleaned the house prior to our visit. Fortunately, the owner still gave us access to the house and hurriedly sent someone to clean the place. He also promised to give us a discount on the utilities by adjusting the starting date. So far, so good. But... it has now been more than 6 weeks since our stay, and we still haven't received any of our deposit back they are reliant on the owner and refuse to assist us. So, if you don"t want your stay to end up costing 500 euros more, don"t book this place. Additionally, if you"re worried about not getting your deposit back , Belvilla is not going to help you, despite claiming that the entire deposit payment goes through their platform. Our nice experience is now turning into a real disappointment. Belvilla is also taking zero responsibility, which has led us to decide not to book with them again.

    The house looked very promising in the photo. Before our booking we had asked whether we could stay with 3 dogs and whether the garden was completely fenced and closed for small dogs (so that they could not get through). This was confirmed via bellvilla. That turned out to be nothing at all upon arrival! The house with garden located on a major road with a lot of traffic was not closed, so dogs could enter the main road from the terrace and garden. The garden also had to be shared apparently with the two other houses left and right, which is not mentioned when renting the house. The weekend guests of the other houses also had 2 dogs and 4 children... so this was not feasible to let your dogs or your children play undisturbed in the garden. It is also not responsible to let 4 children of strangers with unknown dogs together in 1 garden. So that's the first and major annoyance (our dissatisfaction was also immediately reported to the manager). Toilets (the Sas) on the ground floor and first floor ran continuously, we always turned off the tap, we also reported this immediately, but nothing could be done about it because it was the weekend. water and electricity will be charged afterwards? How many ? Wet finger work? We cannot check this ourselves because the meters are closed and not visible to the tenant. I would have liked to see this...so that this can be settled openly and honestly. But not now.. plus due to poor performance there was extra water consumption. The kitchen had no bottle opener, often when you first arrive there is a new bag with a washing-up brush, detergent or sponge or extra garbage bag, but that was not the case. None of the toilets had toilet paper! Fortunately, we had taken our own precautions, but this is still not nice. Refund Guarantee or detail of the usage calculations? Not seen yet, not happened yet... so our account number is known to Belvilla. We have been renting a house through Belvilla for 3 years in a row
