Holiday Home in Tenneville by Ourthe River

We stayed with 3 friends in the chalet last weekend. The house was very dirty: there were many cobwebs, the floor was sticky, there were hairs everywhere, and the dishes were also filthy. Some cups were missing a handle. We found some spiders in the bath and the beds were very hard. In terms of comfort, the chalet left much to be desired. It's a shame because we paid 70 euros for cleaning costs. Hopefully, we will get this amount back. The surroundings of the chalet are very nice, as you are in the middle of nature. Especially in the autumn, it's really great! There are two nice towns a fifteen-minute drive away, so that's nice too. But for the price we paid, we would have liked a bit more comfort.

Great house with a great environment...those looking for peace will find it here...a small deduction for the beds...new slatted frames would be appropriate...but otherwise it was clean and cozy...thank you for the great stay

We stayed there with our 2 dogs. The chalet was very clean. The kitchen had everything needed to cook for ourselves. The firewood was ready in the fireplace. The bedroom was also tidy. The owner is very friendly and was always available by phone. The chalet is secluded at the end of a dirt road and it is very quiet with a beautiful view of the surroundings. Just step outside and after 100 meters you are already in a nature reserve. A few kilometers away in Tenneville, there is also a supermarket open 7 days a week. We will definitely go back.

Wooden chalet with beautiful views over the valley. Somewhat dated furnishings with wooden planks; You can also call this nostalgic. If you want luxury then this is not the place for you; that's what you pay for. Everything is available, such as kitchen utensils. The stairs to the house require some effort. If you are by car and drive a little further, you can park close to the house and you do not have to climb the stairs. The environment is beautiful, so close to the Ourthe. Walked a lot. As noted earlier, it takes some time to find a forest accessible to the public. During the period we were there, around mid-September, many areas were closed off due to hunting. The creaky bed in the bedroom should be replaced.

I prefer not to tell this, but the cleaning team can do its best the house and location is really great, unfortunately not clean, dust in rooms, hands on the windows, really not neat

nice house, beautiful view. You can get close to the front door by car, but that is not indicated. Beds made on arrival, sufficient towels available. There are also dishwasher tablets for the entire duration of the stay. The only 'minus' is the sagging floor on the landing, this is a bit exciting every time you step on it.

The stay in the chalet was very disappointing. The house did not smell very fresh when we entered and it was still quite dirty. It had been swept and mopped. The refrigerator was not clean, there were still fingers on the kitchen cabinets, the order containers were not clean, there was dust everywhere. The frying pans cannot be used on the halogen hob because they were all convex or hollow. the toaster had hairs in it and was dingy. We have not used these. The oven was very dirty and we turned on the self-cleaning program before we baked sandwiches in it. The mattresses of the beds need to be replaced and the double bed creaked terribly. The two-seater sofa and 1 of the two armchairs have sagged and are not comfortable. The dining table is very low, even my wife (1.68 m) sat with her legs against the bottom of the table. The shower rod in the shower is also very loose. The entire chalet actually deserves an upgrade because almost the entire interior is dated and needs to be replaced. Worst of all, we actually find the bad beds so that we didn't really go home rested. In itself we had a wonderful holiday in the beautiful surroundings, but we will not book this chalet again.

We thought it was a cozy cottage. We were there with 2 people and 3 dogs. The beds were nice. The cottage was good to keep warm, we had frost. There were a few things to keep in mind as a tenant. There was no washing up liquid and no toilet paper. If you want to take a bath, you must bear in mind that there will be no more hot water for at least 7 hours, because the boiler has too little capacity.! Furthermore, contact persons were very friendly and fortunately spoke Flemish. Something that I regretted was that the traffic on the highway was clearly heard, also in the forest, but certainly at the house (not inside). Location cottages with beautiful views and forest directly behind it. Enough space around it but unfortunately not fenced and that was a thing with our hunting dogs, as wild boars had churned up the earth right next to the house haha. Thank you for a wonderful holiday
