Chalet in Odeigne with Private Pool & Sauna

A solid choice for a weekend escape, The indoor pool was nice, and the sauna added a touch of luxury, The location is also a plus, with easy access to scenic trails, We didn't spend much time inside but found everything we needed,

The chalet is spacious and comfortable, We appreciated having multiple bathrooms, which made it easy for our group to get ready in the mornings, The living area was cozy, and we loved the fireplace for evening gatherings, Overall, a pleasant stay,

We had a lovely time at this chalet! The BBQ on the terrace was a great addition for our evening meals, The garden furniture was comfortable, making it a nice spot to relax, The overall ambiance was peaceful and rejuvenating,

Pool was broken and no cue The swimming pool was a bit too cold, but otherwise it was a super cozy house

The stay started well for the first half hour and then went downhill. There is no extraction in the entire house, which means that every room is damp. You could open windows until 4 p.m. because then mosquitoes came in. No fan available, which made it sweltering. Swimming pool was very dirty because you just couldn't see the floor. First day in the pool and hit the mark straight away. Piece of glass in the pool that cut open my brother-in-law and his daughter's toe. Then I contacted the owner of the house and 2 people arrived the next day to clean. All that was done was diving into the pool a few times with goggles to look for broken glass. Nothing was found, so we went back into the pool with full confidence and found another piece of glass in my brother-in-law's toe. We didn't go to the pool again after that. I contacted the owner again and unfortunately no response so far. This house is really not recommended and will be the last time for me.

Hello just back from vacation in the house Opal in the Ardennes. It was a large house with an indoor swimming pool. Many bedrooms with shower facilities. The kitchen was open with the sitting area, you really needed this space with so many people. On the terrace it was wonderful to stay until the late evening. The pool and sauna was paradise for all of us, we enjoyed it. The children wanted nothing more than to swim all day. Only a pity that the children could not play outside downstairs. but they had a good time afterwards on the terrace upstairs. There was a nice spacious hall, with stair gate for the small children. That really needs to be replaced. (we attached it.) On arrival I was actually a bit shocked by how it looked but in use it was a nice spacious house. Here and there there could be a little more and better cleaning and certainly the stairs in the hall. Also the showers started to smell a bit after a few days. There were several rooms with dark curtains which was very nice for the kids. But especially on the front side where the sun shines all day long, there are lighter curtains where the children could not sleep. Dark ones would be better, especially for the heat. The windows may also be cleaned once. But everything in a row we enjoyed our stay in the Ardennes with children and grandchildren.
