Holiday home in Odeigne with sauna

It was not very clean

A beautifully quiet place where we had a lovely weekend with the whole family. Exactly what you expect from a holiday home in the Ardennes. Thank you for the stay.

a charming house with many cozy places inside and outside in a beautiful setting. You have to look through some of the flaws to see the charms (an unpleasant smell in some rooms, a loose tap here and there or something less clean,...). Sauna and hot tub are a great asset, but the hot tub has a very weak water jet to fill (so this takes a while). Good beds, clean sanitary facilities and good showers. Enjoy a cozy and quiet time in the garden or rear sitting area. I missed the walking routes in the area that were indicated in the house. (However, a nice walk starts at the house)

Dirty house, heating in the living room did not work (contact with the owner did not solve anything), the downstairs toilet overflowed when we flushed upstairs (then you or the previous tenants must have used wet wipes," At least we didn't), mold in the shower in the bathroom, musty damp smell in the house (which was only 12 degrees when we arrived), ... so not worth repeating - afterwards we had contact with the owner via WhatsApp who told us promised to refund 100 euros in compensation, but have not received anything yet...

The house is lovely. Nice deep garden, pizza oven, fire bowl, new picnic tables: well arranged. Spacious bedrooms, nice kitchen. Especially by mail easy contact with owner, key via key box. Cleaned better on request than on our previous stay. All in all fine!

Difficult contact with the owner. Dirty gite especially on the ground floor. Dishes not clean as well as the fridge and the dishwasher. Freezer filled with ice and containing forgotten food. Persistent oil smell on the ground floor during half the stay and during the entire stay in the WC. Defective taps jaccusi, shower, hand wash. Deep refreshment needed for the ground floor. Long pile carpet while dog allowed hygiene. No TV channel available except platform. Not worth the 8.5 awarded

First of all, the owner sends an e-mail giving phone numbers in case of questions or problems except that none of the numbers were reachable…. Not at all present on arrival and around 10:45 p.m. he came to ask us in a rather "rebellious or aggressive" way to limit neither talking nor enjoying the good. The property was super dirty! The kitchen and the fridge degeulasse! Never seen that! And when we showed him this, he told us it was very clean! We took pictures just in case... It's a shame because we were looking forward to this weekend! Fortunately, the rest of the stay away from home went very well to help us forget this bad booking choice.

This is the third year in a row that we, eight young men listening to the name The Real Tatas ®️, celebrate our well-deserved rest together during the summer months. That makes it a true tradition. And again this year we have enjoyed the luxury that this house has to offer. After a long day of mountain biking, laser tag, hiking and exploring the area, it was wonderful to settle down, warm up by the fire and enjoy delicious homemade pizzas, while enjoying a delicious local beer. Ardennes is a holiday that we will not soon forget, partly due to the kindness and hospitality of Luc.While we pick up the hard life in the Netherlands again, we hope that many more groups can enjoy this beautiful location!Because yes, it is also your vacation finally!

Beautiful region. House not so clean. Mattresses are due for renewal, sagging so we slept poorly. Frying pans in the kitchen can no longer be used. Oven and fridge dirty. Picnic tables outside in the garden are in poor condition. Furthermore, nice garden for the children to play in with the swing and trampoline. The fire bowl is also a plus for cosiness in the evening in the garden.

The holiday went great! Beautiful house, everything as in the pictures. The extra luxury was a real plus. A minus point, however, everything mattresses of the beds need to be renewed. I had problems with my back quite quickly and had back problems from the 2nd night. But for the rest certainly worth repeating
