Friendly and helpful housekeeper. Well-furnished accommodation. Kitchen well equipped. Comfortable beds. Fitness equipment available. Great jacuzzi on the terrace by a river. Beautiful walks done in the area; Florenville, Chassepierre, and the Abbey of Orval are definitely worth a visit.

The cottage was just fine, plenty of space and good beds. Through the app Route You, you can do a lot of walks. The owner was very attentive, had made cake upon arrival, and was always reachable via WhatsApp. Only French-speaking, but you can solve a lot with Google. A big advantage, no exorbitant charges for electricity and water, this is all included in the rental price. The only downside, I was not reachable by phone inside with Telenet. Definitely worth repeating.

A big house with lots of space. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook.

The place of gite Entre Gaume et Ardenne is actually Saint Cecile which - like other villages in the region - belongs to Florenville ten km away where you will find all shops and supermarkets. In Saint Cecile there is only a butcher / caterer and there is a nice church. The gite is very spacious, clean and quiet. The living area and the four bedrooms have air conditioning and the beds are fine. Behind the terrace with whirlpool runs a stream that forms the border between the Ardennes and Gaume. We were kindly received by Chantal with fruit juice and cake and had a great week with trips to the zoo and the castle of Bouillon, the fortress of Sedan (just over the French border), the Caves of Han and the Wild Life park with the Archaeological Museum of Han. Florenville is quite a nice place where you can climb the tower of the monumental church for a fantastic view. Unfortunately, we didn't get to Orval with the abbey and the brewery and so there are more sights. We also had a delicious meal in the middle of nowhere at cafe-retaurant Le Chameleux next to the ruins of a Roman stopping place. And of course you can enjoy walking in the area and, if desired, cycling on the two bicycles that you can use. It is also nice that you can park for free almost everywhere in the region and refuel a lot cheaper. In short: Entre Gaume & Ardenne is a comfortable base for a relaxed holiday with many recreational opportunities. Recommended!

Very pleasant reception with cake and apple juice. This way we were able to make good use of our week away. The beds are all nicely covered. Kitchen towels are provided. What was not mentioned on the website is that the bath towels and washcloths are also provided. The website states that there is a bunk bed on the ground floor. However, this room has a very nice double bed with connecting bathroom and passage to the terrace. That was a pleasant surprise. The 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms upstairs are also clean and well-maintained. The kitchen has all the amenities needed. Although we were provided, there are board games and colors for the children. The area is very nice and pleasant to go hiking. We had a very nice week away.

Located in a super cozy village of sainte cecile!. The house has every comfort.

Very good reception. The owner was even kind enough to call us a day in advance with the notification that we could check in earlier. Spacious house with very good beds (box spring) and more than enough kitchen equipment. Very cozy terrace with the jacuzzi as an extra.
