Peaceful Fontenelle Farmhouse

A lovely farmhouse with a cozy living room, We spent many evenings relaxing on the double sofa bed while watching TV, The heating kept us warm during our stay, which was appreciated,

A nice place for a weekend retreat, The garden and terrace were great for relaxing, and the kids had a blast with the play equipment, We felt right at home here,

This farmhouse is perfect for families or groups, The double bed was comfortable, and the extra toilet was a nice bonus, We enjoyed our time here and would come back again,

The farmhouse is spacious and well-designed, We loved the open kitchen, which had everything we needed, The proximity to shops and restaurants made our stay easy and enjoyable,

The cottage is very poorly maintained, the stairs to the cottage were broken, a very dangerous situation. There was trash like empty bottles, garbage bags, empty cans, etc. around the house and on the terrace. As for the interior, it was poorly maintained, many items were broken, such as drawers in the kitchen, the entire house was extremely dirty. There was mold, dust, cobwebs, broken insects everywhere, etc. The beds were clean, however, the children had rashes and infections all over their bodies after just one night... it was very unpleasant and dirty. Did not speak to the owner, upon departure we left the money for the heating costs and waste on the table since no one answered the door after ringing the bell.

great stay for young people, one of the few places where you can stay under 24 years old; so if you are looking for the perfect cottage as a family this is not for you but if you are looking for a cottage with friends and the location matters a little less this is perfect! no bedbugs to be found (since other reviews mentioned that) every light works (some light switches are well hidden like the electrical box) beautiful view and quiet neighborhood. top

One word: SCANDALOUS! Incomprehensible that such a house is still allowed to be rented out. A completely unmaintained house in a very unhygienic condition. Here is a short list of the shortcomings: • The entrance to the building: absolutely not maintained • The stairs to the house are extremely dangerous due to damaged tiles. • Outdoor lighting at the front door can only be activated via the fuse box. Lighting at the parking lot does not work. • All kinds of waste and rubbish around the house and on the terrace at the front door. • Garden furniture is simply thrown together. • Several drawers in the kitchen are unusable; there are also 2 drawers missing under the sink. • The niche where the fridge is located is dirty and filthy. Totally unmaintained. • Several doors have broken handles. • In the bathroom on the ground floor there is a toilet, which is covered with tape. Furthermore, only 1 light (out of 4) is on in this bathroom. • In the drawers, spread throughout the house, there is all kinds of rubbish and they are really dirty. Some have been repaired with tape. • Walls are dirty and dented in some places. Sockets are loose in the wall. • In the bathroom on the first floor, the shower tap is broken. There is a great risk of cuts and burns here. • There is all kinds of rubbish on the wardrobes in the rooms. • The skylights have not been maintained; the wood is rotten and there is mould on it. • We also had to wash household goods ourselves because this dirt was in the cupboards. • TOP OF THE BILL: bedbugs !!!!!!!! This house is really not in order for renting at all. A phone call to Public Health and they can close this. The landlady passed after repeated attempts but she was absolutely not surprised about all the shortcomings. The spray can for bedbugs was even ready in the cupboard. Despite the fact that this product is not allowed to come into contact with people, the mattresses were sprayed a lot. We have therefore wisely decided to end our holiday here immediately and to proceed with disinfection and thorough cleaning of all our luggage. We had imagined our week of holiday differently. So a forewarned person is worth two...... STAY AWAY FROM HERE !!!!!

House is not well maintained, toilet doors do not lock, windows are difficult to open and a few not at all, beds creak and are no longer good, otherwise it is a quiet place

House needs work, Chairs broken, cupboards barely open, Drawers are taped with tape, some cabinets don't even have doors. 2 doors no longer even have a handle to open the door. The garden and terrace are untidy, tall grass + overflowing rubbish bins. There was even a mouse running around the house. Terrace full of weeds + old garbage bags Not recommended!!! Photos are probably from 20 years ago!

Paid little for it so can't complain much, but it is very messy and dirty. Much is broken in the house. Everything else is present
