It is a spacious house with a nice large garden. There are fun things to do in the area for and with children. The house itself is extremely clean and the beds/pillows were very comfortable. A downside could be that the house is quite noisy and the kitchen utensils were somewhat lacking. Also, the dishwasher did not work. However, 2 large refrigerators were ideal!

The house was very spacious and neat. We were lucky with the weather: 30 degrees. Nice outside, but upstairs in the bedrooms it was sweltering. That was actually the only downside. And to turn that point into a positive, we sat on the lovely spacious terrace for a nice long time in the evening. A great home for 8 people. The children had organized fun things in the area. Enough to do. A house to recommend…yes. And luckily the owner speaks decent Dutch. Fine if you want to ask something. Tip: take some tea towels with you.

Het huisje in Soumoy was rustig en in een mooie omgeving. Bij mooi weer kun je goed buiten zitten. De keuken was erg basic, weinig keukengerei. Na 2 dagen hebben we de vaatwasser niet meer gebruikt, omdat deze uit elkaar viel en erg vies was. De deur van de vriezer sloot slecht. Het huisje is binnen erg gehorig. Alles wat je beneden zegt, hoor je boven letterlijk en andersom.

Standard cleaning costs of 60 euros, even if everything is cleaned and everything is left clean. Wi-fi is not available, and things such as electricity, water and heating are charged additionally. A stay that initially costs 351 euros for a weekend quickly becomes a stay of approximately 435 euros. Owner does not always reply to messages during stay and is not always friendly in communication. On top of that we were received with a sermon about previous tenants. P.S.: Good to know: accommodation is along the owner's residence, and above an apartment (also rented by the owner)
