The place is presented as a haven of peace. In reality, it is bordered by a very busy national road and by a neighbor (albeit friendly) who has a direct view of the terrace and the accommodation. The edges of the accommodation are equipped with cameras that the tenants do not control. Unfortunately, the listing does not reveal these crucial elements. What a shame. As for the rest, the rental was clean and well-equipped but with poorly finished details (bathroom door that doesn't close, television that doesn't work, or remote control with used batteries). I think that a good hundred euros for the weekend would, in my opinion, be a fairer price.

It was a nice little house. Friendly welcome. We would definitely book again. Maybe a sheet on how to sort would be helpful; there was only a trash can and bags for PMD, but what about green waste, paper, glass? It's a pity that you can hear the busy road so well. The driveway was indeed unpaved as indicated, but it was also quite steep going down. We don't have a high car, so it wasn't very easy to drive up and down.

We expected better accommodation for that high price. Damp cold house, no central heating, pellet stove that makes a lot of noise, heating with the air conditioning. Lots of condensation through the windows with single glass. All old furniture (bed still with mesh base) both inside and outside. Even no shelf in the bathroom to store the toilet. and helpful owner!Beautiful location, Busy Steenweg
