Elegant Retreat, Somme-Leuze

We had a fantastic stay at this holiday home! The bubble bath was the perfect way to unwind after a day of hiking in the beautiful Ardennes, The terrace was a lovely spot for morning coffee, and the kitchen was well-equipped for preparing meals, Highly recommend!

The house is a top house, there is nothing to criticize. Everything you need is here. Certainly the silence is really great and the perfect enclosed garden was the ideal playground for our 2 dogs. What is a pity is that you can not / can not open the back door to the garden. When you come home after a long walk, someone has to take off their dirty shoes and pants at the front door every time, because if you go in like this, everything inside immediately looks dirty. If you could open the back door this would be much easier. The two cameras inside the house also give you an uncomfortable feeling, just like the price list that you receive immediately upon arrival if you accidentally break something, not a pleasant feeling at the start of the holiday…. An extra garbage bag, both for PMD and for residual waste, would also be welcome, because you won't get far with 1 garbage bag.

Lovely spaceous villa with indoor sauna and outdoor hottub and a fantastic view. Good beds, a new kitchen with all necessities for a wonderful stay. A big garden with fence so dogs and kids will be safe and will have fun! Lots of thoughtful attentions like air freshner in the toilets, bath salt, aromatic drops in the sauna and various spices in the kitchen.

Lovely place to relax in beautiful surroundings with lovely jacuzzi, large house with garden.

The house was clean and as in the pictures. But a new heating system had been installed which was very difficult to control. When there was no movement, the heating did not work. As a result, you came down in the morning in the cold with a baby and after a long walk you ended up in a cold house. It was also said that there was wood available, that was about 4 blocks of wood and firelighters, so we could enjoy it for just 2 hours. We had chosen the house about the jacuzzi. We couldn't use this one because it didn't go higher than 32 degrees. We have repeatedly been in contact with the owners, they were going to come down Saturday evening then Sunday morning. When she sent on Sunday around 2 pm that they would come by, we also clearly said that it was no longer useful to us. Because it didn't get warmed up before we had to leave the house. The landlords respond very quickly by message, but the cottage did not meet our needs. The landlords were always polite and also found it annoying but had proposed our weekend differently.
