Stone House in Durbuy with Sauna & Garden Views

It is a beautiful spacious house with more than enough space around it. Inside, there is sufficient and good sanitation. The 2 bedrooms upstairs are also nice and spacious with good beds. The extra sleeping places, on the other hand, are a lot less: low beds with mediocre mattresses. I therefore just stacked 2 mattresses on top of each other... Another downside is that there is very little cutlery in the kitchen; so little that you had to wash up after every meal.

Great house, some things are dated, but very spacious. Living room with conservatory is more beautiful than it looks in the pictures. Children's room upstairs consists of 4 small cubicles containing 3x 1pers bed and 1x 2 single beds, so 5 sleeping places there. And then there is a sofa bed on the landing between the 2 normal bedrooms, screened off with a curtain. The bathroom upstairs is fine, the shower downstairs does not drain the water and flows through the hallway when you take a shower. So actually there is only 1 shower now. The mattresses are not great. Thick walls so not so much noise in the house. What is a pity is that the garden is completely fenced, but there is no gate, so the dog or young children can walk into the street. We placed a large ladder from the basement in front of the gate and that went fine. All in all a great house for us. Beautiful view from the garden and the windows at the back.

We had a good stay in this holiday home and can definitely recommend it. Advantages: - Good location (quiet location, large garden, close to Durbuy) - Spacious living areas - Clean - Smooth check-in procedure Disadvantages: - A number of things are in less good condition (e.g. clogged showers, BBQ to be replaced)

Key collection went without a hitch, however arrival at the property was minor. We immediately contacted the reception with the message that hardly any cleaning had been done, but they could not help us at that time (4.30pm). The owner would have cleaned himself (?!). Our first trip was to the supermarket for cleaning products! After 2.5 hours of cleaning we were exhausted and we should have enjoyed our first holiday meal at 10 pm! Fortunately, the next day our holiday could really start. There were headprints on the wall of the sauna, footprints on the floor and dirty sinks. In the kitchen, which by the way needs a big cleaning, breadcrumbs and food scraps on the floor. We descaled the kettle, because more lime than water. The coffee maker broke, but was replaced the same day by the rental agency. The dishes came out even dirtier than they went in, but better after filling with salt and rinse aid. A veranda With a beautiful view, but the windows have not seen water in years! Dust and hair everywhere on the floor. Dirty wall tiles from the walk-in shower. A wardrobe, table football that were broken. We could not vacuum, because the brush was missing. Dog poo in the garden One surprise after another: Toilets, refrigerator, oven and microwave were clean by the way. The rental agency, Ourthe et Somme, assured us that they would contact us after check-out. This still didn't happen, which we regret. The property is quiet, nice for walking, yet close to many attractions. 2 full bedrooms, the other "rooms" remind us of a cell. These are located in a larger space, divided by walls where a bed and bedside table can be placed. I am not someone who regularly writes a review, because it quickly benefits us, but we had never experienced this before!

do not forget to bring bed linen or you will pay extra for it. The house or say HOUSE is modernly furnished, cozy and has a beautiful view of the valley.
