Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by a lady who unfortunately only spoke French. This made communication difficult. None of us speak the language or can understand it. Perhaps a tip to learn a bit of English so that communication becomes a little easier. It was noticeable that the house could use some attention in terms of maintenance here and there. After showering on the top floor, you get a free swimming pool because the shower cabin is as leaky as a sieve. Despite the small inconveniences, we had a fantastic week. There is plenty to do and see in the area that makes it worth going to the Ardennes.

The house is spacious and well equipped. What left us with a sour taste however is the fact that the owner charges extra for *everything*: water, oil, electricity, even garbage bags and (if you don"t bring your own for the odd-sized beds) bed sheets. Expect a substantial charge after the stay: over 100 euros for just 2 days / 5 people. And: after nearly four weeks we"re still waiting for our 600 euros (cash) deposit to be returned...

We hebben een leuke tijd beleeft in de woning. Aan het weer kan je niet veel veranderen maar door het binnenzwembad en de biljart met tafelvoetbal hebben we er een zeer leuke tijd beleeft. Overigens een mooie streek om te wandelen en te genieten van de natuur. Bij aankomst alles mooi uitgelegd en zeer beleefd bij zowel aankomst als vertrek. Een echte aanrader.

The house is a bit older, everything was actually fine. There was too much chlorine in the swimming pool. We went home with a positive experience overall. Then came a little surprise, firstly the owner said we would get our deposit back with the bill within 2 weeks, which didn't happen. That's why we had to report ourselves after 3 weeks. But if there was no answer, then we did it through the investigative company. And after a week the deposit of 200 € came back without invoice and proof. By the way deposit was 600€. And we were there from Monday to Friday. I just can't believe that we used 400€ of electricity and water in 5 days. Pity!

Upon receipt we were warmly welcomed and given a tour of the house. Rooms were clean, looked well cared for and were spacious. The Jacuzzi was turned on for us and the swimming pool as well as the Sauna were ready for use. Facilities within the house were fine and the owner sat with us to put on paper to make a map of what is available around the house to shops.Hier sat in it with 8 people and we had a great time!

After three weeks still no money received from our deposit. According to the contract, this was to be done within fourteen days. Six hundred euros is a lot for heating in full summer.
