greatly located chalet in the woods, everything present but no luxury (but I wasn't looking for that either) very friendly owner

Terrible! House completely different from the description, very dirty, old, and full of thick flies! Tombstone in the garage and absolutely no hygiene. Master bedroom too dirty for words and beds and pillows too dirty to touch! Upon arrival, I immediately contacted Belvilla, but to this day (2 days later) no response or able to reach them, sent an email and left a message, apparently that doesn't work! Had to spend 1 night there and the next day returned the keys to the landlord and found another accommodation nearby! Very disappointing and particularly bad of Belvilla and the landlord that this accommodation is even offered! I expect a response from the organization and have requested a refund of the amount! Never book and don't expect any customer service from Belvilla!

The house was quite remote and secluded as reported. It was a great base for us. The dogs enjoyed it and could run freely around the house and the adjacent forest. We spotted many birds, deer, a fox, and a raccoon. Ideal. The cottage itself is equipped with all conveniences, but as mentioned by others before, it is somewhat dated.

If you're looking for luxury, then this is not the place for you, but otherwise, it's just great! It's not a big house, but it's a nice place to stay in the tranquility with plenty of land around, always a spot where the sun shines, and even a small group of roe deer at the edge of the forest during the early morning hours. We were lucky with beautiful weather, and the dogs could roam freely in the garden or in the adjacent forest area. The lookout tower was easily accessible from the cottage, just a short 10-minute walk through the woods. The surroundings with the many views are also beautiful! We drove around and walked a lot, and we will definitely come back again!

A bit outdated chalet, but wonderfully situated in the forest. The friendly mister Philippe brought us there otherwise we would never have found it. It could do with some renovation, especially the kitchen and the duvets were also outdated. Still had a few wonderful days, partly due to the quiet location

What a party. Chalet is really completely isolated. Not a person or house around. Dogs walk straight into the adjacent forest. And then the hospitality of Xavier Philippart, in one word fantastic. We will definitely come back to this unique location.

Last week we had a fantastic stay in the Ardennes. Super relaxed in this nice accommodation in a great environment, with all amenities within reach. The owner was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed it very much and so did our dog

The beautiful surroundings make you quickly forget that the house is perhaps a bit dated. If you are in need of ultimate rest, this is a must.
