Charming holiday home in Stavelot with a garden

Wonderful place. Very neat, spacious, in the middle of the tranquility of the Ardennes. Some areas for improvement: better mattress, chef's knife and bread knife (both not present) and the sofa bed could be renewed, it has seen its best days. Furthermore, a fantastic house. Great shower, very spacious refrigerator, nice air conditioning. We are thinking of coming back!

The house is beautifully situated and is ideal for a holiday with a dog and lots of time in nature.

Nice and quiet area, close to nature. Spacious and clean accommodation. TV is a bit on the small side, bed is really hard and there is not a blackout for all windows in the bedroom, so a sleeping mask is not a luxury. We had a nice week.

Clean and comfortable holiday home. Spacious terrace Everything was provided, a drinking trough filled with fresh water for the dogs was even ready. Very quiet area. Air conditioning provided. Blinds. Only downside is the very bad mattress. I had to sleep with painkillers it was unbearable. A decent mattress really doesn't cost a lot of people, mind you. Also no blackout in the living room above the patio door. Everything else was certainly good. The closed fence for the dogs was fine.

Nicely located house, where you stay on the first floor. On the ground floor there is a bedroom and a laundry room with washing machine, dryer and sink. There is also a room on the ground floor to which there is no access and no one else is staying there. In other words, a spacious home with privacy. Right next to the house is a meadow with cows and 100 meters further you are already in the forest. We had 2 dogs with us, so Ideal. The house is fully equipped and there is more than enough firewood available to make a fire in the wood stove. A bicycle is not welcome in the house, but can be placed under the lean-to of the shed. What I did miss was a socket to charge the electric bike and a water hose to spray the bike. Had a great reception and stay. Top!

Upon arrival in Lodomez, Stavelot you immediately see the idyllic nature around you and everything radiates tranquility! The owner had waited for us, but since we were unfortunately much too late due to traffic jams, he could not stay but was so sympathetic to take care of that we were very well welcomed and had access to the key. !It is a wood structure building, which radiates warmth and cosiness; very clean, nicely furnished, very comfortable bathroom, all the necessary more than present, from dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, household goods, etc. The owner also provided a nice surprise for our dog in the form of a nice fresh bowl of water and candy and for us there was a nice welcome sign :-) The chalet has a nice (balcony) terrace where you can relax and possibly bbq "and with the available gas bbq. You are 100 m from the woods, 15 min from both Stavelot center and Malmedy center where cozy shops and restaurants, etc., also 3-countries point and Spa (Francorchamps) are close. We are already going to do this! In connection with the review, that the owner also has an accommodation here, there is indeed another room downstairs, with separate entrance, only the laundry room is shared. is welcome if he came, but we have not seen him yet.
