Panoramic Retreat in Malmedy

Working remotely here was surprisingly productive! The WiFi was reliable, which I really appreciated while managing my work tasks. Being close to cafes meant I could mix business with pleasure during my stay here without missing out on local experiences.

Staff were welcoming when we arrived, making check-in easy. The open-plan living area felt spacious, and I appreciated the fully equipped kitchen for cooking meals. Relaxing in the bubble bath was definitely a highlight after exploring the town. Overall, it was a good balance of comfort and accessibility during our short break.

Traveling solo for a few days, I found this spot to be just what I needed. The location near restaurants and trails made it easy to explore on foot. After long days out, coming back to relax felt great.

Beautiful holiday home, and a nice location with a view of Malmedy. The house is in very good condition, but if you are possibly six people, one washing facility and one toilet is too little. Furthermore, the house is completely equipped, with a very nice kitchen.

Very nice stay for the price-quality ratio

Dit huisje heeft een mooie ligging en een fantastisch uitzicht over Malmedy. Maar de foto's zijn erg gedateerd en zeker niet up to date. Het huisje mist veel liefde en onderhoud. Tuin meubilair wat stuk is, de knoppen van het fornuis zijn beplakt met ductape, de balustrade is verrot en zit vast geplakt met ductape. Het huisje was niet schoon en het keukengerei was vies en plakkerig, de matras overtrekken waren vies maar het naarste was de vieze lucht die in het hele huis hing en ook niet weg ging, om deze reden zijn wij ook eerder vertrokken. Allemaal erg jammer want de locatie en het uitzicht is echt fantastisch.

The bathroom and 2 of the 3 bedrooms clearly have moisture problems. The smell was unbearable. It is especially bad in the bathroom; the shower is unusable due to the mold around the tap. I don't want to know what lived under that shower mat; woodlice crawled out from under the bath mat when you moved it... Only by closing the rear doors (even the keyhole) was it possible in the other rooms with the help of some scent sticks. With 2 small children, this was not pleasant; we had to wash ourselves at the sink. The photos were also no longer up to date. The furniture was in poor condition. Crockery was missing more than it was present. And some things had a layer stuck to them that you could hardly get off with the best sponge and soap (greasy). The extractor hood filters were "clean," but what is growing behind the filters in the extractor hood I don't want to know... so I was just heating some water on the electric stove for coffee because the kettle was also unusable with a brown layer on the bottom. This was not a pleasant arrival and stay. I did not feel like making a problem of it at that moment. Finding another house in the area and then also paying for it and starting a refund procedure on this house was not an option for me. So we sucked it up and made the best out of it. The only plus was the peace and the view.

The view is beautiful! Unfortunately the house is dated, the photos on the site do not (anymore) match. Cleaning is not taken very seriously, kitchen equipment in very poor condition.
