Sleeping up to 18 guests across eight bedrooms, this spacious Ardennes holiday home combines countryside calm with enough indoor comfort to make group stays feel relaxed throughout the year.
Most afternoons drift naturally between the terrace, garden, and nearby cycling trails while evenings settle around the fireplace or infrared sauna once the air cools down outside. Children usually disappear toward the outdoor play spaces while the adults stretch dinners longer beside the barbecue after a full day exploring the surrounding hills.
Les Tros Marets can be reached within roughly 3 minutes and remains one of the region’s most scenic canyon-style hiking trails, crossing forest streams and wooden footbridges through the gorge. High Fens Nature Reserve lies around 9 minutes away and is best explored slowly along the elevated boardwalk trails around Signal de Botrange, Belgium’s highest point. Reinhardstein Castle can be reached within approximately 15 minutes overlooking the Warche Valley, while Bikepark Ferme Libert sits roughly 8 minutes from the property for downhill biking and mountain trails. Malmedy also lies nearby for cafés, bakeries, and WWII history museums.

The house is beautifully located and offers plenty of space. It is well equipped. There are many activities available - but we also really enjoyed the large garden!! The loungers and especially the sun umbrellas are a bit worn out... Overall, a very nice stay!

A Truly Idyllic Retreat at Eau Rouge Our stay at the 'Eau Rouge' holiday home was simply perfect. The location is absolutely stunning, nestled in the peaceful Ardennes countryside with a restaurant nearby. The property itself is beautifully renovated, with a spacious, modern interior that still feels warm and cosy. The large garden and terrace were a highlight, offering a fantastic spot for a morning coffee or a barbecue in the evening. It's the ideal base for exploring the local area, whether you're hiking in the forests or visiting nearby towns like Malmedy and Stavelot. The entire place was spotless and the owners were incredibly welcoming. The only real downside is that it's just not suitable for the under-18-month-old crowd. The layout features several open staircases and cots and high chairs are available, the property is best enjoyed by those who are a little older and can appreciate the calm atmosphere. We do look forward to visiting again.
