Quaint Chalet, Bernister

Clean, well organized, beautiful location

we had specifically rented the chalet for our dog that we brought along as agreed, so the dog could play nicely in the garden. but upon arrival, the owner told us that the dog was not allowed in the garden at all and the garden was also not fenced. the chalet itself was fine, but we spent all days with the dog in the chalet.

The chalet was in good order and clean. During our stay, it was very warm, and we missed a parasol; after mentioning this, the owner immediately brought a parasol the next day. He was very helpful. The garden is not fenced, so you have to be careful with the dog; fortunately, the veranda can be closed off. The view is not like in the photos! There is now a house built on the left side, and the conifer hedge is twice as high, so the view is really much less than in the photos on the website.

It was a great stay. The chalet was very nice and clean, the lady who welcomed us was very friendly and we received all the necessary information. Beautiful area for hiking and peacefully located. Everything was available in the chalet. We immediately booked a new date.

The weather was perfect. Only one issue, there was no sun umbrella.

Beautiful, quiet area! Friendly welcome! Cosy furnished spacious chalet with enclosed terrace (handy for the dog). Well maintained - clean - comfortable! Slept wonderfully - good mattress! We would love to book this chalet again!

Our stay was really nice. We had also been in this cottage 7 years ago and it was just as nice as then. The forest is nearby, Malmedy is a short distance away and is centrally located for the circuit in Spa. Great location so that you can quickly get to nice places. Cottage has everything on the ground floor, which is ideal for our dog who would otherwise walk up stairs. Nice spacious veranda, garden is not fenced, but our dog had plenty of space on the veranda. The only thing we experienced, as a small downside, is that the new duvets are a bit short, we are used to longer ones ourselves, the next time we book we will bring our own duvets.

A neat and tidy house, where you can relax in Bernister near Malmedy. Beautiful surroundings and above all very quiet.

Beautiful chalet, cozy and clean. Everything present. Friendly hostess. Good base for walking in the surrounding area. Close to Malmedy but also to the motorway and circuit of Francorchamps which is clearly audible.
