During warmer months, afternoons naturally drift toward the terrace, barbecue, and garden while children disappear toward the play equipment and recreation room. Once temperatures cool down, the sauna, bubble bath, billiards table, and bar become the centre of the evening after cycling or hiking nearby trails. The atmosphere feels lively and social without becoming chaotic, making it especially well suited for extended family gatherings and countryside celebrations.
Restaurants and supermarkets can be reached within roughly 300 metres, while Lake Robertville lies around 7 minutes away for kayaking, swimming, and lakeside walks during summer. Reinhardstein Castle sits approximately 15 minutes from the property overlooking the Warche Valley, while High Fens-Eifel Nature Park offers boardwalk hiking trails and panoramic cycling routes nearby. Fun Park Ovifat can be reached within around 13 minutes and becomes especially popular during winter for skiing and sledding activities. Cyclists should also explore sections of the Vennbahn route passing through the surrounding region, particularly during quieter weekday mornings.

Normally we go to Winterberg every year with 7 couples, including 14 kids, during the Christmas holidays, but this time we wanted it a little closer to home. What a beautiful accommodation with plenty of room for all couples to enjoy their privacy. A beautiful and pure jacuzzi and sauna. Enough parking spaces available. Equipped with more than enough kitchen equipment, playroom with play equipment, billiards, table football, enough bathrooms and toilets. A very nice pizza shop located next to the house and several shops a very short distance away. But above all the top location, Robertville dam, Botrange, beautiful cycling routes and especially the ravel that runs through the back of the garden.

House with many bedrooms and a reasonable number of bathrooms and toilets, but certainly not a "luxury villa" based on the presence of a whirlpool and a sauna. There would be a fitness room, which we did not find, so we had to go to Malmedy for that. There would be a bar, that was probably the bar furniture with some DE cups. A dated house, with many steps up and down, stairs where you had to watch your head, search for where your room was. In itself fine with a large group, but not a "luxury villa"; I don't have to come back here for that.
