Holiday home in Innerkrems in Carinthia with sauna

The owner agreed to our desired arrival time and we received a friendly welcome. The house was unfortunately (since not booked and occupied in the weeks before) very musty or not regularly ventilated and the toilet on the ground floor stank horribly like sewer. What was even more unpleasant for everyone was the much dirt (dust and animal hair) , sticky, dirty pots and pans, dirty kitchen cupboards ....) Even in the freshly made beds were animal hair and sometimes dust fluff! The next day, however, we were able to personally inform the owner and his wife, who was very concerned and tried very hard to replace the bed linen. Mr. Raats waived the surcharge that he actually wanted from us because of our departure on Saturday instead of Friday. That improved our mood a bit, we had to do a lot of cleaning to feel comfortable. Even the dishes that were in the cupboards were still dirty. However, we found that it was the dishwasher that was not cleaning well and then washed all the dishes we wanted to use by hand. With a Herplatte (the large pressure cooker), the thermostat is broken so that it cannot be adjusted. The refrigerator closes with difficulty if you do not consciously press the door firmly. The freezer was not working, but the owner had a small freezer as a replacement in the entrance hall. Fortunately, just enough for our frozen goods. The fridge in the apartment didn't work (probably also the thermostat broke), so we almost broke food until we noticed it. The beds were very different in quality. Those who had heavy, old duvets were worse off than those with lighter and newer goods. Some coped better with their mattresses than others.
