This beautiful holiday apartment for a maximum of 4 people is located in a converted, around 450 year old farm at an altitude of around 1050 meters in Fresach in Carinthia, right in the mountains a short distance from Lake Millstatt and between the ski areas of Bad Kleinkirchheim and the Goldeck sports mountain with a beautiful view of the surrounding mountain landscape.
The holiday apartment is simple but fully furnished and has 2 spacious bedrooms and a bathroom with shower and toilet. The open kitchen is equipped with a hotplate and a refrigerator and the living room has a cozy, typically Austrian dining area and a TV. The house also has a large garden (shared with other guests) and sufficient parking spaces. Please note that extreme overuse of heating and / or electricity is subject to additional onsite charge.
Fresach is located in the tourist region of Lake Millstatt - Bad Kleinkirchheim - Nockberge, directly in the Alpe-Adria region and offers numerous tourist attractions and sporting activities. Lake Millstatt, also known as the jewel of Carinthia, offers a particularly idyllic, warm and southern atmosphere due to its proximity to Italy. The lake is picturesquely situated between the Carinthian Nockberge, has a water temperature of around 27 degrees and offers plenty of different beaches. Alternatively, in summer the public swimming pools in Paternion and Radenthein also offer plenty of swimming fun!
The region also offers numerous hiking trails, bicycle and mountain bike tours, all kinds of events and excursion destinations and a wide range of culinary highlights.
You can ski in 3 nearby ski areas, all of which can be reached in around 30 minutes by car, the Sportberg Goldeck on the Gerlitzen, the ski area in Bad Kleinkirchheim or on the Katschberg, with a total of just over 800 kilometers of slopes.
Directly in Fresach you will find sufficient shops for your daily needs, as well as a good selection of restaurants.

Very basic, old mobile. Very small kitchen without a simple frying pan. View was beautiful from the balcony on the mountains and grazing cows of the owner. 4 days before departure message that the swimming pool was not in use due to circumstances, a pity because that is why the choice fell on this house. Welcome was not really something to speak of: 'hello'. And followed the owner who only pointed the door where we had to be. Bedding did not smell fresh (was clean). Setting is beautiful. Nice hiking trails within a 5-30 minute drive. A day trip to Triglev Slovenia is also recommended!

Een prachtige locatie, hooggelegen op de alp. Je moet wel in de bergen durven rijden. Eigenaresse was vriendelijk maar niet behulpzaam. Als je zelf kookt is er precies genoeg keukenuitrusting dat was soms lastig. Maar al met al een fantastische plek!

The arrival was fine, but a bit too short and simple. We thought the accommodation was great! Simple, but clean and comfortable. You have to love being in the middle of nowhere, but then the view and the surroundings are simply beautiful! Lots of space around the house to relax. The only drawback is that you can not just walk into a town or village. In short: if you like peace and quiet and if you want to enjoy the beautiful views and nature, you've come to the right place!
