The Turracher Höhe is located 50 km northeast of Spittal, directly on the border between Styria and Carinthia in the Gurktal Alps. It offers family-friendly hiking trails, idyllic mountain lakes and a breathtaking panorama.
The Turracher Höhe ski area is a small, fine family ski area between Carinthia and Styria in the Southern Alps and offers 43 kilometers of slopes and 16 cable cars and ski lifts. Other neighboring ski areas are the Kreischberg ski area in St. Lorenzen am Kreischberg with 42 kilometers of slopes, the Bad Kleinkirchheim ski area with over 100 kilometers of slopes and the Katschberg ski area in Lungau with 80 kilometers of slopes.
There are plenty of shops for your daily needs right in town as well as a good selection of restaurants.

According to instructions, we had contacted the manager 48 hours before arrival, but this email was not responded to. There was no one there on arrival. When the manager called, who did not think we should call that Belvilla should have just given the safe code for the key. Not nice arriving like that. The cottage itself is very nice, spacious enough for the two of us and the dog. Kitchen is small and suitable for preparing simple meals. With the wood stove we could get it nice and warm in the evening in the house. Location is very nice, high in the mountains in nature. Beautiful lake to walk on 5 minutes away. Minus point was that the wifi was unstable. lie on the two surveillance cameras at the shed that were streamed via the same internet line. Despite some illness we still had two wonderful weeks here!

Excellent accommodations. We have had een great holiday. Hospitality was great, nothing was too much. Was brought pastries every day. Cozy with the stove was Hölz u200bu200bda.Viel had enough fun in the snow. Were there in high season, but all very comfortable, no stress! And no waiting periods.

Good location and great view. Good access to cross-country ski trails. You can already see the Karawanken from the window during breakfast. Cozy with a tiled stove. Parking in front of the house is only accessible with all-wheel drive or chains, as the descent is steep!!!

Furnishing is simple but satisfies the equipment is spacious voldoende.Parkeerplaats is not really easy to get, ramp down, before the parking bereiken.Bij wet weather difficult to overcome, or you need a 4x4 hebben.Om summer shopping to do so, one must first pass a steep off to a village bereiken.De toboggan "NOCKYFLITSER" is a must!
