Chalet in Kirchberg near Ski Lift & Sauna

Due for maintenance and not very clean. However, the location is fine.

Beautiful location, right next to the ski lift. The reception is not staffed, so you have to call (in German) to get instructions about the key. Parking garage under the apartments, very convenient. Very complete kitchen with refrigerator, freezer, microwave, oven, kettle, filter coffee machine. We stayed there for a few days in the summer, nice walks possible and the restaurant next door is nice with friendly staff. The traffic rushes quite a bit over the adjacent road, which causes considerable noise disturbance. Supermarket not very close.

We left early from panorama chalet number 8. The apartment is very outdated and dirty. The apartment does not match the photos on the website. Unfortunately, no suitable solution was offered by the manager and Belvilla.

The apartment was not bad. Only the service was very disappointing. It started upon arrival when there was no one at the reception. Our arrival time was around 15:40. Then we called the number. Eventually, we did get the key. After a few days, we wondered how the towel service worked. You had to contact them online at (ALPS housekeeping.at). Then I filled out the form. No confirmation was received in the email. But I thought it would be fine. The next day still nothing, filled it out again, and another day went by. I decided to call the (alps housekeeping) number, and it was answered at first but no one responded. Then I called a second time and got voicemail, then called several more times, still voicemail. Eventually, a staff member happened to arrive. I asked them for towels, and they did give me some. By the way, there is never anyone at the reception. And for those reading this who want to stay in this area, choose accommodation that includes the (national summer card) as it saves some money if you want to take the gondolas up. Because it is not included with this accommodation.

The location was perfect. The bathroom and sauna were good. Unfortunately, the bedrooms were quite small, with hardly any space between the closet and the bed. The kitchen equipment could be better. Unfortunately, the wooden floor was so grooved that you would regularly get splinters if you walked around in socks without slippers. This was particularly inconvenient for small children who sometimes play on the floor.

The apartment is in a miserable condition. The furniture is rather bulky, the kitchen equipment is lousy. The coffee maker was broken. Tiles are coming loose in the guest bathroom. Nice and comfortable apartment in a prime location. The apartment is not very large, but well equipped for 4 people (I can imagine that it could be a bit tighter with 6 people). There was also plenty of crockery, cutlery, pans and other kitchen utensils. The beds are good. The double bed was very comfortable: 1 of us likes to sleep on a firm mattress and the other on a soft mattress, and we both slept wonderfully. The sauna is doing great, it warms up quickly. The apartment has a nice balcony with a view and balcony furniture. The sound insulation is excellent, we heard almost nothing from the other apartments. The reception is very friendly. The location is great for winter sports enthusiasts (and I think also for those seeking peace and quiet and for those who want an active summer holiday): In the mountains, directly at the middle station of the cable car. There is a heated ski storage room in the basement of the apartment building. From there you only have to go up a flight of stairs and you are already outside less than 100 meters from the slopes and the lift. There is also a ski rental next to the lift. The complex has a restaurant where you can enjoy lunch, dinner or a drink. The service is top notch. Furthermore, there are no entertainment venues - we think that is an advantage, it is therefore wonderfully quiet in the evening. If you want to go out and party late into the night, this is not the right place. The nearest town, Mittersill, is best reached by car (about a 15-minute drive). There you will find several supermarkets and other shops, including (outdoor) sports shops. You can order sandwiches online. They are then delivered to the reception early in the morning by the baker. 1 space has been reserved for this apartment in the parking garage. There is a parking lot outside where you can park for free. We had a fantastic time and will definitely come back again.
