Here you’ll enjoy both comfort and charm in a welcoming setting. The main cottage features an open floor plan with a dining area, sofa bed for two, and a cozy fireplace that brings warmth during cooler evenings. The bedroom is furnished with a comfortable double bed, and the practical kitchen is equipped with everything you need, including a washing machine for extra convenience. In addition to a bathroom with shower, there is also a separate WC. From the living room, you step out onto a wonderful covered terrace furnished with outdoor seating, a gas grill, and even an open fireplace – the perfect spot for long dinners or quiet moments in the fresh air. For a touch of extra relaxation, you can enjoy the wood-burning sauna (firewood to be brought by guests). If you’d like to head out on the lake, there’s a rowboat available to borrow against a small deposit – more details can be found in the guest binder. On the property, there’s also an additional guesthouse with five beds, arranged as two bunk beds and one single bed – ideal for larger groups or families traveling together. Here you stay surrounded by nature, close to the lake, with plenty of space for both socializing and unwinding. Electric car charging is available. There is so much to do within easy reach in Skåne. For those who enjoy swimming, fishing, walking, or cycling, the area is full of beautiful spots to discover. Just a short drive away you’ll find Ringsjön, perfect for both swimming and fishing. Other sights and excursions include Bosarpssjön, Bjeverödsdammarna, Skåne Zoo, Fulltofta Nature Center, Bosjökloster, and the excellent Bosjökloster Golf Club. At Vaxsjön you can also rent a boat for a small fee. If you’d like to swap freshwater lakes for the sea, some of Skåne’s finest beaches await – Yngsjöstrand on the eastern coast and Borstahusen on the western coast are perfect choices. Along the coast toward Österlen, you’ll also find Kivik’s Cider Mill, Stenshuvud National Park, Karl Fredrik at Eklaholm, and much more.
